Well, I was just trying to come up with an explanation as to why there are two ships in play - the one on the planet in the Prometheus film, and a different ship with the Xenomorphs aboard on the original Alien film's planet.

No, the suit encapsulates the whole body, no matter the size. It's like a child wearing their parents clothes. It covers them entirely... FINE I WAS JUST SPITBALLING. Ignore my idiocy!

I dunno, I'd prefer to see the spectacle of the Engineer Homeworld before worrying too much about how the derelict ended up on LV-426.

I still think that Noomi becomes the Alien Queen, after mutating over a period of time......just a guess

I thought this up before realising there were sequels actually PLANNED? Has it been officially said that Prometheus will be getting sequels by Scott? EEEEk :D

@Susanbf I think it is something like that too, my belief is that she is infected also.She had a secondary and different exposure to the black stuff.It is plausible.She has already "created" the primary face hugger and ultimately the queen.

Good try but the alien is double in size to the one we see. More like an alien got into the suite but didn't understand how to correctly fly it

As i remembered, the proto-alien (or something) saw the light on the prometheus lifemodule after David and Noomi set off. I think that the spacehip on lv426 has nothing to do with prometheus, except that something went wrong about 2000 years ago. (would explain that fossilised)

Sorry dude but NO!! That would never make sense because the Alien chest burster scene happened after Shaw and David escaped the planet. Anyways Prometheus was a film that asked too many question but not enough answers I'm afraid!

Ridley Scott did explain before in an interview a very long time ago about the Engineer scene in Alien. He said, the horse shoe ship that looked like it crashed on LV-426 didn't actually crash. It LANDED!!! Let me repeat it LANDED!!! He then said that the ship was a warship (military of some kind), carrying cargo of biological weapons of mass destruction NO JOKE!! Sadam Hussein would've loved this idea!! However, something went wrong in the cargo room which literally outside the control room of the horse shoe ship. Something escaped and that thing whatever it was killed the Engineer in the chair. My thoughts of the black goo in Prometheus. It creates weapons of a biological nature. It does not create life it destroys it but the black substance is like a primordial entity that wants to become something more than just goo. That why I believe the Engineers didn't create this stuff they found it from somewhere and are harvesting it to protect themselves with because they know something bigger and badder than them is out there!!!

@ SPUPPET - I think the logic is great. sorry for sarcasm, the evidence makes it slim BUT the ideas you present would be mind blowingly amazing if the film managed to pull them off it would be legend.
