Smokes and mirros

I have seen by far better, more creative and imaginative plot ideas in these messages here than what I saw in the movie.
Personally, i feel that (maybe due to Lindelof/spaiths) the movie is VERY commercial. It is SO designed for speculation (in a bad way) and so eely in avoiding giving anything concrete that its already disgusting. Rarely did I have the feeling that it was purely made to keep the mystery behind the story alive, and thus somewhat rendering it obsolete.
Of course there is a lot of speculation going on, and I am sorry to realise that most of the marketing interviews with Ridley Scott were purposely made to lead us on the nose. But my conclusion is that it simply is not worth it, as the scripters have decided to make the movie so open that no answer can be found within the images. Its like selling sugar feer lemande, it promises to satisfy a need, but in the end it just makes You want more, purely to earn money.
Forget about the bioweapons, forget about a proto-xeno (what a word), forget about the engineers. All discussions about those elements are purely speculation, and will never lead to anything, as much as Prometheus didnt reveal anything or lead to anything. Why ? Because nothing was there in the first place. There was no back story in the first Alien to pave the ground for any other story. The queen was made up by Cameron because the eggs were there (so that question is answered: what was first, the queen or the eggs). He worked that out the same way people here do it, imagine something that wasnt there to have a plot device for a movie.
WHY Mr Scott decided to make Prometheus so very similiar to ALIEN and yet insisting it only shares "DNA" is something only Fox and he can explain, in any case, the whole non-story in Prometheus will keep people speculating for a few more decades, and rest assured, neither Scott nor Fox WANT to give any definitive stories to answer those questions, as that would put an END to it and thus make further milking the franchise obsolete.
Its like a rule: don't give them what they want and hint and what could be, that will keep them coming.
