21 Minutes of extra footage

So in a recent interview, Theron and Pierce revealed that there are 21 minutes of extra footage that were cut. Especially interesting is that an entire scene between Theron and Ilba was cut that showed them talking after she toasted Holloway with the flamethrower. It looks like an unrated extended cut might not be out of the question after all... Toldja! Ridley's recent films took their time usually somewhere between 2hr 20 min to 2 hr 40 min. Forget act Theatrical Re-release, here's hoping it is released uncut for BluRay. Ridley's words that this is the director's cut is just, you know, a director trying to hold on to his, umm, career.

Potential scenes for the Uncut Edition: Conversation between Vickers & Janek, probably takes place between the sheets What is that big hole in the temple? What causes the sand storm? The shot of the Space Jockey in the trailer seems to show the suit opening up. You could see the rib section unravels one by one. In the movie, we only see the helmet section closing on the Engineer. Also, how about that shot of Mercs shooting at something as they escort old Weyland to the temple? And a shot of Shaw backing up in the transporter vehicle?
