Hi all, I am going to see it on 6-10 1pm Imax 3D at Ontario Mills Mall, Southern California. I am excited but my excitement has been a bit tempered with some of the mixed reviews on here. But actually I think that’s a good thing I am going to go in completely open minded about it. I have to say I cant remember ever anticipating or reading about a film so much as this movie. I want to express my heart felt thanks to all the staff members who volunteer there time on this great board and who have had to endure the spoiling of the movie for themselves in order for us fans not to have the movie spoiled for ourselves, my hats off to you all. One more thing, when can we safely start talking freely about the movie without having to include “SPOILER” in the thread topic? Would that be 6-8, 6-9, 6-10 or 6-11. Again thanks all for a great ride so far,

I feel the same way... I'm going tonight at the Imax 3D in Covina... Looks to be a fun ride... my expectations are tempered so I believe I'll enjoy with no problems. I also think RS movies seem to get better for me as he gets older. He has a style that I really enjoy... let's hope I feel the same way tomorrow. I'm just glad that he's taking on the space epic... It just seems like nobody in Hollywood has it in themselves to do it. We'll see... Gravity or Oblivion may have some hope. I can't seem to get enough sci-fi in space.

i snuck into a media screening in Oregon, USA last week...but am going again tomorrow night and can't wait to see it with a full theater. can't wait to see reaction of the crowd to different parts of the movie. have fun

Oh people...it's a RIDLEY SCOTT film!! You act like you're going to a funeral!!! This film -- even if it doesn't live up to your lofty expectations -- will still be head and shoulder over all the CRAP that has come out since 1982...so why are you acting like a bunch of BABIES?! Go see the thing and kick back and just enjoy the grandeur of it all!! Why does everything have to be on a par with ALIEN or Blade Runner? Maybe this is...maybe it isn't...so what?! It'll still be an excellent genre film!!!
