He [i]is[/i] a little old man... I'm just happy for him that he didn't get himself more involved in this, after all.

@Facebugger I think his facial expression says it all, assuming this was him leaving.. hopefully for his sake he walked out of the theatre before the last scene.

That man is a legend.. his art is amazing.

I want to know what has he got in his bag? And I bet that alien head he signed on the way in will sell for a fortune on fleabay!

That was him leaving (and with a very long face too),... As I said many times, Scott, Lindeldork [i]et al[/i] desecrated his beautiful space jockey,... :)

Very interesting to see from Facebugger´s youtube link that there are actually people who don´t know who Giger is. I bet you those are the people who mostly enjoyed the film and consider it a masterpiece. :)

powereddie: big fan of Giger here and I think Prometheus delves deeper into Giger territory than Alien did. 1) it reveals more of the thoroughly perverted and sinister design of the 'derelict class' ship. 2) The xeno-mural might be Gigers best piece of art ever. 3) The protofacehugger-wrapping-around-a-body statue in the temple is great. 4) The protofacehugger raping the engineer is the most giger-esque scene anyone will get away with in a movie. A few stills of the engineers face just after penetration closely resembles some of Gigers most sexually disturbing works with 'penises/tubes entering mouths.

@msepsis Actually his reaction is to what his assistant just said... "Did you realize you just wore crocks to the premiere?"

Awhh bless him.... he is starting to look really old now :-( He doesn't look well too, reminds me of my grandfather in his later years. After seeing these pictures and videos of him I can kind of see why he wasn't more involved in the film. What a legend he is though :-)
