MemberOvomorphJun-08-2012 4:25 PMWow, this David was the creepiest robot since Roy Batty! If I was Shaw, I don't know if I would trust him to not get homicidal the first moment he could turn the alien ship's technology against her. By the end of the movie, all I could think was that David didn't really have any allegiance to anyone, that he was just biding his time, looking for a way to kill everyone. Will we ever know what he said to the Engineer?

AdminPraetorianJun-08-2012 5:19 PMMost probably a "Like father like son" scenario,. Weyland is an a$$hole and raised david as his son so it's no wonder David is a passive-aggressive little jerk.

Both guys, Roy and David, are "like-humans", but without morality. Perfect cognitive abilities, bodies of more strentgh and durability, etc. But no moral issues (as stated in a viral with David8). And this reminds me the sentence of Ash form "Alien" - about the Xeno and its "perfection". Saying this again, in my opinion the key is in Nietzsche's work.
