Humans vs Xenomorph

I suppose this post should really be in another forum but here it is... I've noticed posts saying that the engineers may worship the xenomorph as some sort of 'superior' organism (I can't remember the exact quote from Ash in the first movie - but he says he admires it's purity and that it's devoid of illusions of morality and stuff like that). The Xeno is portrayed as the ultimate killing machine/predator. I admit they are baddass. I know it's a cliche but aren't humans the ultimate weapon? I mean I know were soft, squishy, bleed easily and pee our pants when we get scared (things that Xeno's don't have a problem with), and I know the space marines got handed new assholes in Aliens but...hey...we goddam nuked them and THEN the Queen got her ass handed to her by one lowly human with a wear-on forklift truck. I don't really know what I'm trying to say here so I'll stop...

You are suggesting that humans have the ability to plan and reason and Aliens, though physically superior, do not. Therefor humans would be more lethal. Viruses and bacteria are not sentient. They cannot plan or reason. Do you think humans are the 'ultimate killing machines' compared to viruses and bacteria?

Thank you for replying Majestic_Lizard. Re your question: I'm not sure...if you take rabies which is the organism with the highest mortality rate (death was nearly universal without institution of the Milwaukee protocol or administration of post exposure prophylaxis)...rabies is species specific i.e it will only affect warm-blooded animals. Humans as we all know will use their ingenuity to kill whatever we desire (unfortunately that seems to be each other)...so like I said I'm not sure.

I shamelessly want to direct you to my theory [url=http://www.prometheus-movie.com/community/forums/topic/7566]here[/url]. In that thread I discuss how I feel the Humans were an answer to the Xenomorph bioweapon. Check it out! I think people don't give humans enough credit in really any sense when speaking of 'superior' lifeforms. Humans are pretty amazing creatures! Just look at Ripley in Alien. Every one of her crew members gets killed due to the Xenomorph just being way too crafty and using 'divide and conquer' tactics. Yet Ripley finally beats the Xenomorph in the end.
