Yes, I know. Sometimes, I find books/films/music several days in advance at "Mom and Pop" shops. Sadly, those days are coming to a close.

I already have it. I have to say I was a bit let down.
It's too much like an art coffee table book giving you snippets unlike the original 'The Art of Star Wars' books which gave you damn near everything drawn for the movie in just as many pages.
It shows images of the statues used for the fresco an unnoted alien hand on an egg and something I cannot even make out and then doesn't even mention them.
There's a lot of design in this book that they could have delved deeper into but they give it a quick mention and move on.
It also confirms what I already knew; the urns, the temple, the big head, the dead jockeys. All the elements that we thought they have an explanation for but aren't telling they just threw in there to come across as mysterious and ambiguous.
I don't mind questions being raised but at least O'Bannon knew what the Jockey was when he wrote it. For a writer to throw cool, weird shit into a project to stir up discussion but have no idea personally why is lazy lazy lazy.

How is the text? Does the writer delve into the creation of the storyline?
