Shaw = the SJ in Alien?

They never really get to examine the SJ in Alien so I reckon it would be a crazy cool idea that another human was the mysterious SJ in Alien all this time.
Plus would kinda make sense since Ash seems to know more than others and some info must've gotten back to Earth after Prometheus mission failed. The Nostromo was a simple freighter? Yeah right it was sent to pick up that "distress signal" on purpose... the company knew what it was doing.

I also dont wish it to be the case just spit balling (i believe is the correct term apologies for poor english). But with clever writing it wouldnt necessarily be a short and silly sequel.
I'm speculating if there was no sequel (doubtful but possible) is there a tight enough reason for Shaw not to be the SJ in the original Alien?
After end of Prometheus movie:
Shaw and David lift off.
Shaw dons SJ suit to pilot the ship with help from David.
Unknown to them are the Alien eggs onboard. Either Shaw falls victim or David (after re-attaching his head) makes her an un-willing test subject again like in Prometheus.
Shaw crashes ship to try to contain the threat managing to do so before she gets chest bursted.
David (if he is still "evil") activates a distress beacon to call others encoded with instructions to the Company that someone like Ash would be able to interpret. David kills the chestburster to stop it killing the next crew to find it. To create life you sometimes have to destroy right?
Or if David is good - he is destroyed in the crash or trying to dispose of the chestburster. Shaw activates a keep away beacon? Seems a bit silly i guess because maybe its best to leave the crash site unknown? Or maybe she thinks if it is discovered best to at least try to signal people away from it.
All entirely possible? Seeing as the star systems in Alien and Prometheus are the same?

nah ..that would totally destroy Alien
Also you cant make characters who survived a movie to die at the beginning of next one ( like alien3 )

chance is there - but as i understand scotts intension, the sequel will lead even more AWAY from alien universe.
Its kind of "parallel stories in the same movie-universe".
Dont think we will ever have connection to LV-426, as this SJ is FOSSILIZED so it must lay there hundredthousands of years.
But the prometheus story is just some few decades before Nostromo finds the signal.
I dont think they bring in some "timetravel", that would be the only reason why it COULD be Shaw in that SJ Suit on LV-426.

Why would it destroy Alien?
Say if there's no sequel.... the crashed ship in Alien is Shaws ship she took off with at the end of Prometheus = not possible?

Two problems I see with that.
1) The SJ in Alien is fossilised, I don't think Ridley's into time travel.
2) The warning needed to be translated, I think if you are sending a warning particularly to your own kind you wouldn't make it too cryptic.

Wow didnt realise that any sequel movies would take us further away from LV-426.
Wasnt the FOSSILISED aspect merely a quick assessment from the Nostromo crew? They hardly had time to do a full examination of it. Maybe with hull ripped open plus something unique in Acherons atmosphere made the SJ take on the appearance of being fossilised?

Of course the warning is cyptic it using a transmitter from an alien vessel. Shaw wouldve made do with what she had to get a signal out there? Maybe David tampers with it to say "come! come!" intead of Shaw's "stay away"?
Purely having fun speculating here not trying to be annoying.

This has also crossed my mind. First off:
1. The Nostromo crew only assumes the ship and the SJ is fozzilized because it looks as it's grown into the chair. We know now this is because of the biomechanical construction of the suit/chair/ship.
2. The hole in the chest, definately indicates a chestburster, not the bodyburster variant seen in Prometheus which one could assume is how it develops inside a Enngineer creature.
So this scenario is plausible, but I do wish this is not the case. I still feel the Alien derelict should remain a mystery to the audience. Plus it would make up for a short and silly sequel.

It won't be Shaw in that suit, it's fossilised!! Leave the LV-426 Jockey as he is....a mystery to all. Leave it to your imagination as to how he got there, how he become infected, what type of alien burst from him.
Why must everything connect to the original ALIEN anyway? Prometheus should take the ALIEN story and reinvigourate it, reinvent it, not tread on or sully the past glory of the original film.

Prometheus is a another story in the Alien universe which has space jockey-type beings in it. Not the space jockey in Alien.

I think that explaining the ancient fossilized engineer from alien could be rather simple.
If Shaw and David do find the engineer home world and get to speak with them, maybe they will just tell the story of the engineer who disappeared after leaving with the bioweapon.
Or not..
Maybe shaw and David will find the home world and find them all dead and gone, again from the bio weapon. Either way, it allows us to understand why there is a ship crashed full of eggs without really getting in to great detail.
I think we are smart enough to make the connection from there.
ALL generalizations are WRONG!

In 'Alien', was the encrypted S.O.S signal from LV-426 (later identified as a warning) the same warning sent out by Elizabeth at the end of the film?
It is very possible, though some speculation is needed here. Since the warning message is encrypted and partly decrypted by Ripley in Alien we can assume it is human-made using a cipher known to Weyland Corp as Ash had much clearer information and directives regarding what they would encounter. Since we hear Elisabeth Shaw record the warning at the end of Prometheus before leaving the planet we can assume she left a beacon broadcasting it on LV-223 at least, and was able to do it again, using equipment from Weyland Corp. Because it is two different planets in the two movies it must be a different message or a copy of the first, Shaw's next destination at the end of Prometheus is unknown, it may be that she visits and leaves a similar warning on several planet sites and derelict space jockey ships including the one on LV-426 seen in Alien and Aliens.
