They are going to be none of those.... Those are all what Humans are in terms of this movie, those are what we portray them as... I think Ridley is going with the idea that the Engineers are indeed created by someone else or some other race and that the Engineers are just servents/gardeners of a higher race. There purpose is maybe to teraform and bio form worlds.... So yes you could connect the Engineers with Angels.... but i think that they are more simular to the Lgigi and Atra-Hasis
