Right on Gareth. Good podcast. I'm curious if the 10.11.12 stands for October 11th, 2012 or November 10th, 2012.. I guess we'll know by October 11th. Hoping. Now would the film be named [i]Paradise[/i] alone? Or [i]Prometheus: Paradise[/i]? I'm pretty sure there was already a movie named Paradise done ages ago. Either way, I think Fox plans to make the sequel soon - as the viral marketing is not slowing down yet..

Yeah, nice article there too! Thanks for that! And I agree, they're really diving into the mythological metaphors for their theories which Prometheus is based upon. They're really opening up this franchise into something profound. I will be very curious to see what happens on 10.11.12.

This is most likely a way to keep the hype up until the DVD/Blu-ray release. I doubt a sequel is going to be announced so soon if it actually happens.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Paradise was filmed simultaneously with Prometheus ala matrix reloaded/revolutions. The 10-11-12 date might be the trailer for the sequel and it may be released early 2013.

Like I said in another post about this date, 10-11-12, in the US that indicates Oct. 11th, 2012, Europe it means Nov. 10th, 2012. Also I read where 3 months of filming went on during the making of Prometheus that never was in the original film..... Also I have to think because the set was built for the juggernaut already for Prometheus, why tear it down to only rebuild it again for the sequel. The set is there, two actors, Shaw and David, most of the filming would take place aboard the juggernaut ship in the sequel.... the other actors would be the engineers, xenomorphs, perhaps a few new aliens and the black goo. The rest would be allot of special effects, green screen and what have you.... I believe the sequel is already done.... and I think it would be totally awesome if the sequel comes out on 10-11-12. Imagine the response from all the fans..... Next thing we will know is that Sir Ridley Scott was caught walking on water... lol
