June 16, 2012Wait, so you tell me that you got this movie that not only explains (suggests a theory which if right - explains) creation itself but also explains why sumerian mythology is the way it is, explains why and what greek mythology borrowed from it, then what christian religion took from that (the flood concept, Moses going on top of that mountain and speaking with God, who tells him about heaven's heights and how, looking down upon earth, it looks ROUND... like a GLOBE... how would they know the earth is round?)...
So you got all that and you mean to to tell me that space-jesus is too far-fetched, assuming that you've already taken the things before that as a plausible theory?
By the way I don't think they implied that it's exactly 2000 years, to the year. I'm sure they meant 'around' 2000 years. Also, if you assume (just because you ARE watching sci fi) that the engineer thing really is true, while in the movie I'm way more inclined to believe the engineer's data instead of human history and data, which renders our 'precise' understandings of when exactly jesus was crucified obsolete. That and why the hell are they supposed to do it imedeately? I mean if jesus was crucified 1-2 centuries before they decided to bomb earth there's a lot of stuff that could've happened that would've taken them a century or two.
