The Prometheus hit the Juggernaut at 'ramming speed' (saw Ben-Hur the other day) dead at it's centre... practically nothing happened... The Prometheus then exploded into a zillion pieces, again right in the middle of the juggernaut=> it didn't break even though the explosion was almost nuclear-like, it then fell several miles to the ground, crashing and burning, but still in one piece, after which it rolled for another half a mile or so.... again, almost unscathed... Now that is one tough bird!!
You don\\\'t see them fucking each other over for a goddamn percentage!

yes! good point. totally forgot about that. but they made that nuclear explosion quite clear due to the nuclear powered jet propulsion thingies. the juggernaut just came crashing down, little bit of a scratch here and there.

Probably lends credence to the idea that the derelict in Alien really is ancient & managed to stay in good condition despite the harsh conditions of LV-426. Regarding the sarcophagus like stasis pod that David finds the surviving Engineer in. I think it would've been a nice reference to Alien if it had a layer of blue mist hovering above the sleeping Engineer. That would also explain how the facehugger eggs could survive for so long.

They've been building these for a very, very long time.

jamieleng - a blue mist covering the Engineer would have been amazing! Never thought of that before!

I would have liked to see more of the inside of that juggernaut ship besides it's weapon storage and star map/pilot area. The ship is to be twice the size of the Prometheus, I wonder if they will ever show detailed plans, especially interior plans of both ships, that be kool. Going to go see it a 3rd time in Imax tomorrow, I can't get enough of this movie
I should reach the frontier in about 6 weeks. With a little luck, the network will pick me up. This is Ripley, last survivor of the Nostromo....
