look how much buzz both good and bad has been generated from this movie..I say keep up the good work...Also, here is a chance to make sci-fi history and money if handled right...good post here

He's talking about time wise if you ask me. As in the timeline in the films. They've already said many times that the proposed sequels will deviate further away from Alien than Prometheus did.

I would hope that he (Ridley Scott) perhaps would direct them back-to-back if he were to take that route and thats if he was not willing to sign off the film franchise to other up and coming directors. Damon Lindholf has been quoted as saying he would want to hand over scripting reigns to someone else with a fresh idea and perspective upon the subject.

Prometheus 1 Human respond to invitation. Found their workshop/hanggar/cargo. Cargo wipe out all the remaining engineer and human. New kind of Alien was born. David8 and Shaw escape to the engineer origin world. Prometheus 2 Shaw got infected by cargo in the ship (remember LV 223) and died when arrive in engineer world. Alien breed in the ship and release the offspring in engineer world. The last remaining engineer escape to another planet (LV 446?) but didn't make it and crash. Then this ship were found by Ripley gang. End of cycle 1 Cycle 2 With Ted & Vickers dead, another lunatic in Weyland Corp send a colony to this planet Lv223. Remember that in Alien2, a family of colony (newt family) found an alien ship. We could wonder, alien in Prometheus already lay dozen of egg in that ship. That trigger Alien2. Military rescue. End of cycle 2 Maybe.... please don't flame me...

Samseng, I like your plot. Cool. But I think that a Prometheus 2 would need to show the entire origins of the Xenomorph. It could be a creature engineers didn't make but their military found and modified.
