Closer Look: Engineer Dome

I was watching a special fx video about Prometheus and was able to capture some screen shots of conceptual designs for the Engineer Dome. [url=http://postimage.org/image/3o1cn6985/][img]http://s18.postimage.org/3o1cn6985/Ridley_Sketch.jpg[/img][/url] It appears as if the whole dome is simply a terraforming device for the facility underneath the dome. This was pretty clear in the film but at least here is proof. The intense network of the actual facility is interesting. The large rooms and the small circulation corridors. I really wish the film revealed more about this base. I feel that all this work went into these designs and we only discovered so little. Who knows if Prometheus 2 or 3 will even breach those topics.
