If they worked more on the actual film than this stupid web site it might have made a great movie.
Turning into a Blair Witch/Cloverfield bug hunt, bah.

ShinobiX9XJune 27, 2012
yeah, you don't like it, we know, go on and let us enjoy that great film.
I checked the site yesterday and couldn't yet, thanks raves

At the end of the video it says: recruiting at San Diego ComicCon 2012
and a website: projectprometheus.com/sddc
When will the ComicCon be? 12-15/JULY? Is that correct? Has anybody more info?

CBT1979June 27, 2012
The film was good but I agree that I would rather have a better scripting and longer movie than using so much efforts on the viral campaign.

movie length is something the theaters like to limit. to have more viewings a day

The videos are hosted on Youtube, but digging into the HTML brings no results, all blocked off in the CSS.

Hmm not much to help us along still :( ...Starting to look like just light info on weyland industries and nothing meaty on the whys and hows of the film. And yer all prometheus needed was a few script and direction changes and it would of been a classic. Anyway theres still some hope....:S

Yeah cos the Lord Of The Rings and Titanic, and the Dark Knight movies were short weren't they.
Cinema's don't give a stuff or have a say in a movie length.
I think you'll find the average length of a film (on average, I don't Lawrence Of a Arabia thrown back as an example of an old long film) has only increased in the last 20 years.

I think he meant to say the cinema industry companies / studios - they control so much of the films ins and outs including the length its all about money...I wonder if they wanted to hold back some footage for the directors cut as well - more likely to get more dvd sales as well...

CBT1979June 28, 2012
I think they should just made the cinematic version around 140 mins and the directors cut maybe 160 mins ^^
