Did Scott Ever Do Sci-Fi Without Androids?

I think he may be "obsessed" with the idea of Androids in film but maybe this is not true, and if he did make something I wanna see it.

from what I can ascertain nope, Ridley seems only to be linked (directly) to Alien, Blade Runner and Prometheus. However his younger brother Tony directed Deja Vu starring Denzel Washington, that dealed with time-travel and wormholes.

thank you, so I may be on to something because the FOCUS of all three of those films, included ANDROIDS in a big way!

A good way of asking questions about ourselves (as all good sci fi does). Seems to be his sci-fi motif too.

Kubrik - Barry Lyndon
Sir Ridley - The Duelists
Kubrik - 2001
Sir Ridley - Prometheus [in a blatant way]
you can see where this is going...

goodpoint David1 .I haven't seen either Barry Lyndon or the Deullists but I've read about them, and he does seem to wish to emulate Kubrick, and not just in style (which he admits to), but in theme. And his fondness for Conrad is also evident.

Ohhhh, The Duelists! What a GLORIOUS work of art. And his first film. Don't get me started.
The only other Sci-fi he did was the sci-fi/fantasy film Legend. No androids believe it or not lol.

Legend was fantasy but I don't think I'd call it sci-fi. There's no futuristic technology in it, IIRC.
Methinks I shall have to check out Barry Lyndon and the Duellists.

I thougt of "Legend" but YES it was a Fantasy, it's subject matter was a magical Unicorn. Saw The Duelists it is a work of art as mentioned and maybe the single best directorial debut of all time. Harvey Kitel is sensational in that as well.

Legend... I really like that movie for Darkness sake. And the Unicorn [Sir Ridley seems to enjoy unicorns as well... remember Blade Runner]

That has to be the most symbolic Devil characterization in the History of cinema

HH:
Barry Lyndon is like a Victorian painting in motion. The lighting is fantastic and gives that time períod frame a lot of it's beauty [the lightning was also 99% natural sunlight and candles, almost no artifial light used]. Check it out.
