Did weyland know about the engineers?and the the fact they were messing around with DNA & life creation ect,(After all it could have been a long wasted journey for him,and come across some murdering,human hating engineers!!!)

When you are despite, you will do anything, and Peter Weyland was beyond rich... he own part of the Galaxy already.... but death was knocking on his door... I have my doubts that specific knowledge, but theorized their existence and methods of creating and modifying life.... Great Idea.
