I'm a Mexican fan, I really love and admired the film.
In my opinion, I think that Prometheus was conceived for three main audiences:
1) Really hardcore-geeks fans. I include myself in this group.
2) Public that watch and like Alien and was expecting a prequel.
3) Public, like my father-in-law, that went to see the movie and have a really good time with an epic sci-fi 3D movie.
Unfortunately, the mayority of my friends and relatives are in the number 2 audience, and I hate it, but they were disappointed, and the "average comment" is that "the movie was predictable". Ok, ok, as I mentioned above, the "really hardocre-geeks-fans" know that it isn't the same planetoid from the 79 film, but I get exhausted to kind to explain.
Just need to write the thing above, thanks.
