How Was David Talking to Weyland in Cryo?

Perhaps there are differet levels in Cryo,,,and David8 could check in with Weyland from time to time during the 2 light year trip... I just thought the helmet provided a bit for privacy..prevent eaves droppers.. And can we be sure David was actually talking to Weyland and not some other person? Engineers..or Creators perhaps, The easiest answer is Peter...but..

1 of 2 things possible: 1 - the helmet does in fact allow for communication between the user and the one in Cryo or 2 - the easiest way: Weyland was awake. [why would David 8 use the Helmet if daddy was awake? maybe, just because.]

i don't think that was a cryo pod, i think that was the med pod where shaw gave birth

namtraz: it was a cryopod. Weyland only had 2 days of life left in him, so he was preserving it as much as he could.

We see David using the same headset to spy on Dr.Shaw's dreams in hypersleep. So, he's communicating with Weyland via dreams. There is a little hint in Dr.Shaw's dream to the effect that she can vaguely 'see' David for a second. I would have liked to see one of the security guys leap up after Weyland's briefing to the crew and say 'THE PHONE CALL WAS COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE!'

Occam's Razor. It was Weyland in cryo.
