MemberOvomorphAug-04-2012 10:48 PMJust got back from seeing Prometheus (7th time) at the local dollar theater...surprisingly large turnout...almost like opening day all over again. First time I've ever been to the dollar theater...I was impressed with the picture and sound quality (and the inexpensive concession stand). Will have to catch Prometheus again in September to help curb the wait for the Blu-ray in October. :D

MemberOvomorphAug-05-2012 2:18 AMIt looks like it's nearing the end of its run in London. But one saving grace is that screens 4 & 5 at The Empire, Leicester Square - although small - are quite excellent. I prefer them to the larger screens, personally, because you get a clear view without anyone's head getting in the way.
The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent

MemberOvomorphAug-25-2012 2:30 PMTHe dollar theater I went to was terrible. The volume was so low I might as well be watching it on mute. The tone, the intensity of the movie was gone with the low volume. The projection screen was bigger than the theater screen when I saw "rometheu" on the screen.
Terrible experience, makes me want to watch IMAX again
