I ignore Engineer's height, as well as strength and agility, I have not any reliable sources, and I ignore David's strength and agility, the only references they are coming from Ash (Alien 1979) and Bishop (Aliens 1986). I guess they are smart but not strong. I wonder what would happen if David had been replaced in the film by a Nexus 6 owned by Tyrell Corporation, would he have faced a hipotetical confronting against the Engineer? I guess Nexus 6 have more strength and agility that a robot (David). If I not wrong Leon Nexus 6 is able to "lift 400 pound atomic loads all day and night". For example, Roy Batty has a perfect body, huge strength, capable passing through a wall with his hand or head and lift Deckard freehand with one hand. He has memory, and we thank that really has because his past gives us a fascinating way. He has intelligence enough to rebel against their own destiny and a will capable of carrying out his plans killing people and leaving a trail of blood behind. He is also managed to beat men on any scene. Few minutes are enough to defeat his creator in a chess game, a game started for long time for him and his employee J. F. Sebastian. Then, after this demonstration of intelligence, destroys his creator's head with his own hands, in a true display of physical power. We don't have all the facts. Does anyone know something?

David has a 700 lbs lifting capacity, and is very physically agile and very intelligent. It says so on the Weyland site. Here: What David8 is made of and what he can do. Confirmed: He has no organic componants. PHYSICAL: An advanced polyurethane coating replicates the biological properties of human skin to exact texture, pliability and tensile strength. With a cadmium alloy endoskeleton, David 8’s frame can withstand over 1,000 pounds of compression force. Micro-distributed accelerometers provide ultra-keen kinesthetic awareness. And as a new design feature, David 8 has been programmed in several common sports modes; he now enjoys basketball, cycling, golf and more. Frame and Design: David 8 uses a micro-pressurized hydraulic actuator system along with frictionless joints to achieve maximum reflexive mobility. His cadmium endoskeleton is guaranteed for the life of the product. Additional feature specs: Multi-degree range of motion greater than human capacity Micro-distributed accelerometers 30x visual magnification with increased depth of field Low-light auto-adapting feature (with assisted low-light focusing) Non-reactive Polyurethane coating 700-lb lifting capacity Polymer-encased brain stem component Source: Weyland Industries Timeline; David8 (8.2 OVERVIEW)

Assuming that Ash is an advanced generation than David 8, how easily was tear his head in the movie Alien. Its a pity we did not have the same sources of Blade Runner at the past as well as has done Fox with exceptional way. Thanks so much!

@Mateo; Ash wasn't made by Weyland neither was Bishop, they are Hyperdine Systems robots. Im just guessing here but the Engineer in Prmetheous must be able to lift at least a ton to be able to rip David's head of his shoulders so easy. A ton could can be from about 2000 pounds to 2400 pounds. I would even go as far as to say that it can probably lift a couple of tons.

@Rubirosa I don't know the exact measurements of Engineer, height, weight, and strength, but should be about twice than David, if we apply some logic.
