davids finger print

Yes, indeed David has Weyland logo on his finger :) In another clip[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOOJl5lWNfM] Happy Birthday David[/url] you can see it in the end when he presses his finger against the glass. The fingerprints above have two different Weyland logos (one without wings; the other with). Are they supposed to be the same robot?

Like you I noticed the fingerprints are different. If it is a David 8 model..but different robot how many Davids could be running around. Should there be more than one robot on a mission od such impoertnce..especially to Weyland personally? I want to point out a another fingerprint scene that happens just after 'Destination Threshold.' David goes to a control panel in the Prometheus main deck puts his fingettip to his lip[s and thgen presses the finger to the panel; to activate the lights ect. That seems like such a human trait,,if one wanted use a scanner and get a good read of a fingerprint. (At my work this what I would do to get clocked in for my shift) It occurred to me that there may be additional information in the Weyland logo on David's finger..much like car ignition keys have an embedded chip to ensure this key is for this car.
