Neither can I, but I think the realistic date of release for Prometheus 2 is 2014-2015!
According to IMdB:
Noomi hasn't got anything lined up as of yet. She has two films in the post-production phase, both coming to the screen in 2013.
Fassbender has a couple of films in post production, one is still ongoing, and it looks like his appearing in Assassin's Creed - but no date has been set yet.
Ridley, also has many projects in post production and 3 announced projects. I have the feeling that out of these 3 announced projects Prometheus 2 will be given priority over the others due to it's box office success and eager fans!
So, Claudius I very much doubt that we'll have to wait until 2017! Fingers crossed.

that is some interesting info oneironaut!
i wonder how many sequels they want to make, i know signing on for 3 in a row is pretty popular lately.

very true - I wonder if Ridley will film 2 & 3 together. This happened with the The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolutions, both released in 2003 only separated by a few months. Cameron too is also filming Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 back to back.
That would be a treat - Paradise and then the follow up only released a few months within each other, oh the potential joy!

i would love that! when they film the movies so close together it seems more like one big long movie or a 2-parter.
and i do HATE having to wait for movies, i usually stick to watching sci fi and horror from the 1970-90's so very few movies in our current decade i find interesting enough to want to see in a theater so the wait is sooo frustrating!
especially when we get up to date info on the movies, it is such a tease, makes me so much more impatient!

exactly, I've been keeping myself busy watching anything some good and some not so good, such as:
Starcrash
Lifeforce
Brazil
Dark City
Immortal (Ad Vitam)
Fifth Element
Blade Runner
Alien and the rest of it's siblings
Aeon Flux (Animated series)
Animatrix
Samurai Champloo
Stargate
I think that's the only way I can keep myself occupied! Just thinking about it has got me all excited! Where's my Aeon Flux boxset

Oneirinaut- or you could do what I do, completely geek out and write your own version and shamelessly flog it here!

@one, i love all of those things ^_^
i am a bit more of a horror buff then sci fi though, usually focusing on monsters, paranormal, and mythological.
but not by much, id say 60% horror 40% sci fi, its a close call!
i have "trillogy of terror" on right now, going to pop on "castle freak" next.
