Activating the Juggernaut

In watching the scenes involving the Juggernaut rising out of the ground is quite impressive. The underground scenes,,though not as detailed as I would like.. seem to indicate the shop was floating,,some sort of anti-gravitation at work. This anti-gravitry technology has not shown its self before in our movie.. In any case with Shaw running across the landscape toward the Prometheus the ground is openning up to allow the Juggernaut to leave. These moving plates are massive and intricate,,,indicating much effort/planning/ foresight in the original installation. THe scale of this construction indicates quite an important facility..for whatever purpose. And this is just for one ship David said there weree many more. I guess I can still be surprised even after more than several viewing of the movie. Now let's get back to the more inportant issues on this site..lol

I was struck by that as well @Indy. And despite the hologram supplied by the 'pups' which clearly show the ship beneath the pyramid or 'beehive' structure, Shaw escapes through a tunnel which opens far away from any structure and we see her running across what appear to be moving plates.

I don't know. It seems elaborate and complex to us, but it's probably nothing to the Engineers, who have been up to these kind of tricks for aeons.

Also in the scene where she is talking to Janek about taking out the Juggernaut,,it seemed to me she was looking right at Janek as if she was somehow close enough for him to see her. I don't think we have seen any exmples of the crew actually being on screen in the Prometheus monitorsin any of their travels into the pyramid(like a newscaster on the scene) The cameras were always pointing out in front of each member,,never a self portrait.
