Weyland Industries Timeline-Discovery of Acheron LV-426

On the extra's of Prometheus DVD, in Weyland files, he says about a signal the corp have picked up on LV 426, and that they were planning to go there, but Shaw and Holloway proposed to go to LV 22 , thus them goin there. He also says that David knows of it too. I only just read it the other day on the DVD extras, so may not be 100% accurate, someone correct me if im wrong.

You have more information than me. My question is when this occurs? In flight or before the mission?

This is a little snippet of it. *As fate would have it, Shaw and Holloways interests in Zeta 2 Reculi has proven to be mutually beneficial. While the good doctors rely on ancient carvings and primitive cavepaintings, my science divisions own long range scans have recently detected a faint,almost imperceptible signal emanating from one of the lesser moons in that system. Contrary to the finds of Shaw and Holloway which target LV-223 as our primary site of interest, our findings suggest the point of origin could actually be the moon LV-426. Per standard procedure, we will embed a David 8 unit with the crew. And he will be programmed with multiple contingency plans to address and exploit whatever assets we secure on LV-223. But only David will know about 426 and will ensure that the rest of the crew ( including Meredith ) learn nothing about the transmission we've recently discovered, until the time is right. @DenzelITH Very revealing, I think, From this one piece alone we know that David may be planning on going to LV-426 when the time is right, as one of his contingency plans, when he finds out that even an android can be wrong and those urns he has on the second juggernaut are bone dry. Not armed. David was making parts of it up as he went along, he only worked out the "broad strokes". That Engineer either also didn't know the ship wasn't armed when he woke up all groggy, or he never intended to attack earth at all and David made that suggestion up because it's what HE chose to believe and he lacks some data/cargo now. This also means the opposite of what it's suggesting, in some ways, I believe. It's saying if Yutani's new tech is what it's cracked up to be, then Weyland's secret mission may not be so secret and someone may be waiting for them. It definitely seems they could be "testing" Yutani in some ways. Yutani may just be the risk that's awaiting David on the path to greater reward in Paradise.

Yeah David thinking he's free, then Yutani comes in. If everything in Prometheus hadnt gone so wrong they would've gone to LV223 after investigating 426, and if everything went wrong ( which it did ) then David would be the only one to know about it. I think Paradise will be Shaw and David destroying eggs, but David deceiving her at the end, by deliberately leaving the eggs on 426.
