The number of planets/seedingsd must have been quite extensive not ny just jusging the by the number of planets displayed but also the number of Juggernauts/Domes that appear on this moon. If the Engineers were motivated to seed planets it could be countless number of xenos in various shapes. sizes and charactoristics. But if our Last Engineer has been sleeping for 2000 years well maybe there has not been that many emergency trips needed to clean up a problem.

Indy John, lets look at it from the Sleeping Engineer's pov. He has survived the catastrophy at his facility. He may not even know yet that it took place. He is probably not the janitor so, strange midgets awaken him and say something about being his long lost children. I think I would also freek out at the thought of all that child support.

As a young man I spent 9 months in an amature film school in a country town in NY. It was like a film school summer camp. No big deal. But I remember them teaching us that after completing the school, we would not be able to watch a movie in the same way as we did before. They were right. I tend, subconsciously, to see the pieces of the puzzle as well as the overall picture at the same time. I can't turn it off. The biggest thing that strikes me is the eye witness reports by moviegoers of things that they say are in the movie, but are not there at all. A movie is like a rorschach test. Our mind fills in the images that each individual viewer thinks he needs in order to understand what he has just seen. We accept that the Engineers are going to destroy earth all along because Shaw "chooses" to believe it, and there is no evidence to the contrary. Ahhhh but there is Mr Watson! Ever vigilant in my movielover perch, I scan the horizon for anything amiss. Trust me or watch the movie again. David is a more scarier dude than we thought. What Shaw has going for her is David is intrigued by her. This faith/religious thing she has, the soul, she proclaims without hesitation and is something David has no concept of. It's not in his programing. I can hardly wait for Paradise, but something tells me it won't be as advertised on the brochure.

@astromax: That's interesting, but what does it have to do with this post? "We accept that the Engineers want to destroy Earth"- actually, in my post it is stated that i believe humans were merely a stepping stone to the xeno; meaning the Engineers mean to create them on a planetary scale. Actually on a galactic or even larger scale. What's your take on that?

This thread of 'Earth is chosen to be destoyed' based on the setting in the Orrey has been discussed. As s I recall I was roundly booed when I asked 'How do we know the Earth was /selected/targeted?" I was concinced that I was wrong and everybody else was right. It is good to see another soul taking this question up. Where the truth actually lies will be determined in the next adventure, I hope.

Type A- brilliant!!! Hahahaha. Thank you for that, that is genius. I'm actually only curious if we are living in a universe full of Xenos. What a terrifying thought- Xenomorphs crawling over hundreds, or thousands (maybe more?) of rocks all around us!

What about the Mars' rover finding hints of xenos. That will get NASA funding for the next 20 years,
