PARADISE or just another episode of Ancient Aliens

As entertaining as the sequels of the original film may be, I feel greatest tragedy is the lack of developing the a story that truly brings the franchise back to it's horror origin. Prometheus injected too much human origin/ancient alien concepts that weakened the story in my opinion. What made ALIEN so captivating was the bizarre Derelict and it's inhabitants. One lifeform that made life for a crew of 7, hell in a tin can. ALIENS introduced the queen, but thats it. Enter the greedy corporation and clandestine military sequels. Not very ALIEN.
Cut to Prometheus and the derelict pilot is a humanoid in a suit, and then the human interaction with the black goo combined with sexual intercourse results in a proto facehugger creature... Is this thing on?
"PARADISE" - we travel with the intrepid Dr. Shaw and David to a "engineer" populated planetoid, who partake in rituals and cultures similar to those from South America to Asia. Pyramids/Domes hopefully showcasing more Gigeresque landscapes. Shaw will get captured at some point and David will go into Colonial Marine mode and rescue her...anybody still here?
Next in the third sequel, I'm expecting a young commercial pilot Ellen Ripley to be involved to be investigating some odd data regarding the classified Prometheus project.
Follow this with the end sequence of Space Balls featuring Ash having a case of deja vu. =)
