Today some interesting news shows how possibly life supporting solar systems formed in our milky way billions of years ago! Crazy stuff : http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/earthsized-planets-discovered-in-milky-way-increase-chances-of-ancient-alien-life-10005708.html . Also scary thinking if something did survive destruction for billions of years what the hell did it become. I hope prometheus explores this I suspect it was the point. And have reasons for the engineers staying so unchanged for supposedly so long.
