Is SHAW the EGG??

Here's my thought:

The eggs are usually laid by a queen. Since this is a prequel and we don't have the established "True queen", my thought would be that Shaw is the original queen. Her actual eggs are harvested from her by David, mixed with the black goo, and they in turn become the traditional Xeno eggs we all know and love.

I have been hoping this all along, but alas that one leaked image showed several eggs on a set, so in that case maybe not? 

I'm personally hoping for zero Queen connection, and zero Ripley connection, although neither of these would ruin it for me. Would love to see an Eggmorph,though. That would be quite hideous.

I hope we see someone being eggmorphed, but I think Shaw will be used in some other way! ;)

At the start of Prometheus, David looks in on Shaw’s dreams and we see a funeral and Shaw asking what is going on. I do believe David had a certain respect for Shaw’s religious beliefs. Now the big assumption at the moment is the possibility that Shaw is dead. Although we don’t know how this might have happened, it does raise the question of what would be done with the body. We know that this new planet does have its own form of life. Now what happens if a burial takes place ? Are there organisms in the ground that can interact with a dead body giving rise to the Xeno egg?

What we should take into consideration is that they can breathe on this planet. What might happened to her is that she drank the black goo from David, the same as the engineer in Prometheus and terraformed this planet so the ecosystem fit humans. 

I had just posted a similar assumption, based upon the deleted scenes from Alien.

One of the clips in the trailer shows the juggernaut in the background, which looks like it has crash through a building of some sorts. My guess is that this planet has already been seeded by the Engineers and terra-formed. This building may have been like the one on LV223 and producing a breathable atmosphere. I do think there is some connection between what the sacrificial Engineer did in drinking the goo in Prometheus and Shaw being previously infected. My only other theory is that the spore we see is a result of what might be someone walking over Shaw’s grave.

The Juggernaut appears to have pulverized some very large trees. A comment was made elsewhere that it looks small, and I thought so too until I found the humans in the frame for reference. It's just that the trees are huge.

'David, are you alone here?'

'No. Dr. Shaw is here too. Would you like to meet her?'

'Yes.'

'Right this way...'

'What is that?'

'It's Dr. Shaw. Look closely.'

*SPLURT*

I think there are many eggs, eggmorphed by using the engineers that once lived there, there is no queen...yet
