Alien 5 is still on the table, the series needed a rulebook

Yep, that's right! 20th Century Fox and Ridley Scott had film researchers create a 10-page rulebook for the Alien series.

If anyone can find any information on the Rule Book it would be awesome.

Rick,

You know there are some unsavory types on this forum...we need ground-rules for acquisition...namely what is allowed or not in order to procure said Alien rules.

Here are some questionable tactics that I would like further guidance on: pimping,  extortion, racketeering, hacking, black-mailing, larceny, wire-tapping, intimidation, insider-trading, and of course, prostitution...

Just want to make sure we are all on the same sheet of music...

I dont think we will see one ;)

Well maybe once Ridley Scott has finished we can get a new resource book that would touch upon these things a bit.

The Rule book in Question is just a set of Ideas that they wish to set in STONE as far as relating to the Xeno, Black Goo, Engineers and Space Jockey and events...

As the Franchise did get messy.... we can assume Blomkamp was toying with ideas with some of the above... that would contradict what plans Ridley Scott has.

I think its about time at FOX they made a set of guide lines on the Xeno and Black Goo and how it connected to the Engineers etc.

So any future books or movies would have to adhere to them somewhat.

I have a LOT of feelers out for such, as if I'm going to write things set in the ALIENverse, I want to make as sure as I can that they have a chance of being awarded Canon status by FOX, and it's also out of respect for Sir Ridley Scott, I insist on adhering to his visions and perspectives about the franchise.

IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

I guarantee you this book will be circulated in some form or the other so that writers can know the rules of the game in the future, much like The "Star Wars" folks did early on.
