Below are samples of the biology we have seen on Paradise.
Notice the blood above?
This is a bit spoilery imho. I both enjoy and respect your work but could you give a WARNO of new footage post April 1st? Not trying to be a dick but maybe that is how I appear. I will try to be more careful in the future.
Excellent pictures Ingeniero!I indeed did notice the blood, already got that picture saved to my phone
Nothing the God of biomechanics wouldn't let you in heaven for
Not so spoilery, as they are seen in the trailers and TV spots released thus far, so I'd say your safe.
That first critter, the Blank Face, is STRAIGHT out of a Nightmare!
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING
Sorry to hear that,I was thinking you were enjoying the newly aired TV spots along with us all.
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING
I watched them on YouTube

Ingeniero, you seem to know your stuff, do you think the comiccon footage is real or red herring based on what they have seen discussed on forums like this?
One thing bout the protomorph is interesting. The gap between the eye sockets. Considering previous designs one would expect a nose hole underneath the carapace. Makes me wonder if it is a design decision or is there more to it?

The Protomorph we see in the new trailer may be from the described footage seen at Comic Con. Viewers said some turned into viscious creatures. We all know the Prometheus trailer was cut up like crazy and I think they are doing it with Covenant as well.
Ingeniero!
Beautiful capture! I have been watching the new short trailers many times today and I've tried to get images like that, but have not succeeded. Well done! What do You think about the big chap with the bloody snout? Is that a biomechanical xeno? I do not believe that it is the Protomorph that tries to headbutt his way into the ship. Why? Silvery teeth. The ridges on the shoulders. They're different. The transparent dome. Any ideas?
@Tiwaz
If You look closely at the trailer I think that You actually can see a nasal cavity under the dome. Is'nt that just a beautiful beast, or what?
"Bees have hives, man"
Babylonxeno, thank you for saying that but some of it is a head scratcher. Davefried81, yes, I keep thinking of the Prometheus trailers that I watched a thousand times.
I'm still convinced that Ridley Scott filmed both Alien: Covenant and Alien: Awakening last year. I also expect Alien: Covenant to be similar to Prometheus in regards to seeing concepts that will be explained later (David 8's head reattached) in Alien: Awakening.
Taking that into account, most likely whatever was shown in Las Vegas were segments from the whole movie out of order and edited to confuse. I still do not think Dr. Shaw is in Alien: Covenant and she will only be in Alien: Awakening.
Ingeniero this is a very good point. Do you really think he shot Awakening as well already? That is mega- The protomorph we see in the new trailer behind the female character may be cut up too. maybe she turns around and there isnt even a Xeno, perhaps a person lol. We shall never know for another 56 days.
Yes there's a nose cavity (green) but also the gap (red) between the eye sockets (yellow).
Blimey, now it looks like a Picasso. XD

@Davefried
Im still a bit sketchy on the goo that David, according to some reports, drops on the engineers. For one the report from CinemaCon is quoted by Playlist as follows:
“The sneak began with the spacecraft from the last film arriving at the Engineers’ home world. Surprised, startled or curious about this ship’s arrival, hundreds of Engineers have gathered in what looks like a Roman or Greek coliseum for the ship to dock. As the Engineers look on, the base of the ship opens and we find David walking on a deck. He looks ragged, but fully operational in a complete body. Then, as the Engineer population looks on, a mass of black bombs fall from David’s ship. The crowd panics and tries to escape the arena, but the bombs quickly explode and douse them with a black ooze that is sickeningly familiar. The Engineers are quickly transformed into hundreds (or would that be thousands?) of alien creatures as David watches from above satisfied with his…revenge?"
I have a few issues with this, for one the beings that are petrified do not resemble creatures or at least the ones seen in the most recent tv spots nor do the ones seen in the pre-production set photos.
If David can walk on a platform below the ship and drop black goo bombs on the city while not actually at the controls and its just hovering, id say he is very skilled in piloting this vessel, so why did it crash or why is it found crashed??
Why would the go petrify people, it can mutate and break down organic life, having it also petrify seems as lazy screen writing to me....it also seems equally lazy that all the humanoids were in this tidy little courtyard to be petrified and none were anywhere else
If it did mutate all of the beings into creatures then why did the bulk of them remain in this courtyard seen in the trailer and now in the tv spots
Also if it only mutated some into creatures and not the bulk then why did they all remain in this courtyard? Also if it only mutated some and not all into creatures then why does every life form that are clearly not mutated creatures appear to be petrified in dramatic running/crawling/walking poses? and not torn apart carcasses having been attacked by creatures?
Just using some general logic and it is either lazy screen writing or we have been misled to a degree or there is something we dont know or have been shown, perhaps the CinemaCon footage was cut together to appear one way but it was actually something else
...at any rate the beings all being transformed by goo into creatures doesnt add up, if you read through my questions above a little ..
it just doesnt add up to me at least, id love to hear other opinions on my questionable items.
Yeah!! That's really a piece of art, Tiwaz! What do You think about this creature? Xeno or Proto? I tried to start a topic on this earlier today, but my phone went haywire and I had to restart it...
"Bees have hives, man"
For me it's the proto. The slub (right word?) on the shoulder isn't large enough for a xx121 and left of the head you can see one of the spikes known from the trailer.
Further the shoulder doesn't seem to have biomechanical features.
