Having a Good Time - Are You?

As much as I dislike Prometheus, I do like to talk about it and see other members shed light on it (AC and the franchise as well), so I have a good time here. Often I enjoy everything here more than the movies themselves.

bang on dk, this site is miles better than AC and reading all the theories is awesome. the pre-AC discussions on theories of how AC was gna take Prometheus forward were amazing. just a shame certain people from FOX didn't read them. or maybe they did n thought 'do u know how expensive this would be to put into a movie? f**k it, lets got cheap option, kill the engineers n make it about David' lol

I think its a case of Damage Control now...

There have been to many cooks in the kitchen... 

And that has led to a different number of likes and dislikes regarding aspects of the Franchise, the Concern is with each movie, the dislikes seem to be pilling up than the likes.    Having chosen the U-Turn path to actually link the events of Prometheus sequels towards Alien, they cant just abandon that ship now....

Yes there are interesting other themes to explore and expand upon, but these could and should have been done when trying to go the alternative path to a Prometheus Sequel, rather than having to Shoe-horn a Plot that Literally now links to Alien.

I will add, that it appears FOX/RS do keep a check on responses to the Franchise from time and time to sites like this and AVPGalaxy and certain Youtube Channels.

But again if any Poll was taken, its not a clear cut answer of what to do next.

As a lot of fans still want to see more about the Xenomorphs, and those answers leading to the Derelict.   I think a few things that stick out from Fan Reactions.

*Changes to Xenomorph Lore (Gestation/Growth)

*New Chest Buster.

*David being the Creator (thus no Ancient Mystery)

*Movie being more about Davids Story.
