MemberNeomorphApr-15-2018 8:36 AMthere doesn't seem to be much fresh topics to get out teeth stuck into lately but this is what happens between movies, we seem to be stuck in limbo a bit here. just been going back and re-reading some of the old threads iv commented on and got to thinking, is there a past topic that we could re-ignite? now that wer 6 months to a year after AC, is there any threads u would comment on differently having seen the film and discussed topics and read other peoples point of view and theories? is there any thread ud like to get discussing again. its something to do and there r loads of excellent threads from months ago that we may see differently today.

MemberChestbursterApr-15-2018 9:31 AMI'd still like to see a Luke Scott face-hugged figure if we talk about merch, c'mon Fox. Or a statue of Morgan chasing Scalia.

MemberTrilobiteApr-15-2018 9:24 PMNot making light of the OP, but there are always things to ask about. It can even be silly stuff like noticing how we never saw a toilet in an Alien movie. Or the Engineers' diet- their teeth looked like ours so some must have been omnivores at least. Why would the Engineer from Prometheus even require teeth? Just throw ideas out there and see if it starts a conversation.

MemberChestbursterApr-15-2018 10:09 PMdk The Engineers were human (genetically) in Prometheus, so of course the would be carnivorous and in AC you see the Jumbo wheat that they plant possibly to cook break. They most likely also eat fruit (as suggested in the AC prologue draft).

MemberNeomorphApr-16-2018 6:14 PMif that's what floats ur boat then by all means but I just find the deeper questions more appealing rather than what does an engineer wipe his ass with? lol

MemberTrilobiteApr-16-2018 10:20 PMIn lean times, sometimes one must dig deep to keep things going. If it's pondering Engineer TP, so be it lol.

MemberPraetorianApr-17-2018 3:08 AMwow, there really wasn't a toilet in any Alien films hahaha!
Vincent Ward at least attempted to explore this topic in his Alien 3 script.....
But then his script also featured Sheepymorphs with a face in its bums, so go figure

MemberNeomorphApr-17-2018 7:20 AMThat is the reason why I have not posted a lot here, a lack of new threads. I could probably try to think of something but sometimes I am not sure what to write.
Exactly DK: Why have we not seen any one take a shit in an alien movie? We have had the movies since 1979.
Iraptus: Yeah they discussed the Vincent Ward script in the Perfect Organism podcast, that detail was nasty.

MemberChestbursterApr-17-2018 7:24 AMI'm pretty sure will have an @$$ burster scene as we have already chest bursting, back bursting and mouth bursting. Just be patient.

MemberNeomorphApr-17-2018 7:28 AMIgnorantGuy: It could work, it could be really messy.
Is the point of the Ward script that it is better to not be able to shit than to die from an assburster? Rule number one: to survive this it is an advantage to be constipated. (The movie begins) The survival of the most constipated

MemberChestbursterApr-17-2018 7:42 AMCan you imagine a flatworm style Xenomorph, as it breaks it's body to create more xenomorphs?

MemberTrilobiteApr-17-2018 4:43 PMThis thread has ironically opened up a new conversation. Basically, think of an idea, throw it at the wall and see if it sticks. If it does, it can be a very...moving experience ;)
