I certainly think as a Starting Point to a Spin-Off TV Series/Streaming.

The Name is something that has to be considered...

2023 Odyssey a Weyland Story

If we are talking about the Journey of Peter Weyland from that defining Moment in 2023.  Or Weyland: (insert secondary Title)

I think it would be interesting.... we DONT want to get into the Territory of calling it ALIEN: something, as expectations would be when is it going to connect to ALIEN in context of NOT about Weyland or Androids...

I think another Problem is that Weylands History and TED Talk does seem to have AI and Androids as a very Important Part of the History, and i fear a lot of Fans are NOT interested in this due to Alien Covenants David.

Certainly that is NOT the only String to Weylands BOW however.

Maybe 2023: Building Better Worlds, could work?

That sounds really good. It doesn't have to have anything to do with Alien proper but it could. It could go in at least three different directions. I think calling it 2023 and releasing it that year could cement a generation of viewers at least.

I want to see David and the sequel to Covenant.  For Peter Weyland I am afraid it is too late, although it would have been nice to see David rebelled against him. After Peter Weyland died there is no one to match David.

Come on, guys, let Ridley Scott do this one more film in this franchise, then you can have the colonial marines shoot the xenomorph.

I think yeah it would be difficult to bring us a Peter Weyland from 2023, but looking at the Time-Line that Prometheus introduced (which has been changed somewhat by Alien Covenant) it would appear that a lot of the Building Better Worlds Aspect and Space Exploration really kicked off in the 2050's and on wards.

So i think having a Peter Weyland involved at a time when he would be in his Mid 50's or Mid 60's could be a route to explore.

Regarding David... i think it would be interesting to see the Character again... but i feel a lot of Fans are just not that interested....    I think it could be a case of we come across a Dis-activated/Damaged David.   Maybe introduce another Walter for a different ARC!   This New Walter could be Modeled on a Older Looking Human Male in their 40's

Because the Longer any Sequel to Alien Covenant takes, the older Fassbender will be and be less likely to pull off being a 35 year old looking Human Android.  I agree that the Prequels need a Conclusion.

But i also think the Franchise can expand beyond anything related to the Engineers/Xenomorph and LV-223/426 and Planet 4.

It could also share a universe with Blade Runner as has been discussed here before. That may also really set off some fans though. 

I think it would be interesting.... certainly are a lot of shared themes between the Prequels and Blade Runner and ideas RS had for sequels.

A TV Series could go the Philosophical Route..  Scenes we had were David and Weyland were together are interesting from his Hologram Message on the Prometheus where he proclaimed David was the like a Son but lacked a Soul.

To the Alien Covenant Prologue.

A Majority of my Prometheus 2 idea i abandoned years ago was not about where David and Shaw are, or Xenomorphs but about the After-math of the Company in the Months after Prometheus had lost contact.

It dealt with Deception, Betrayal, Greed and about the Yutani Company.. it was also very Philosophical and AI Heavy, it had some Flash Backs of David and Weyland where i had a Philosophical Scene not to unlike the one in Alien Covenant, where David and Weyland were playing CHESS..

I DONT want to babel on too much, but the idea i had was to reveal there was a AGENDA to the Advancements that Weyland had made, both in Medical and Technology especially AI and Synthetics.

Where it was NOT to benefit Mankind but to attempt to offer him ways of Extending his LIFE and also make him MONEY so he can further this Agenda.

Where his Master Plan was Project Rook... Create a AI that you could upload a Human Soul to, and then Transfer this Human Soul/AI into a Synthetic Body....  GRANTING Weyland IMMORTALITY

But alas the AI could not control and handle complex Human Emotions and would go well CRAZY!

I worked on this in 2013/2014....  

I should have Finished it off... but something like it would have been better suited to a TV Series as i doubt my ideas would have fitted in less than 2.5-3 hours lol

I was working on Part 3 of Prometheus too which would revolve around where Dr Shaw and David would go, but this was complex as i had so many ideas i could not settle on a Entire way to cover that element... 

But the Prometheus 2 that would be set mainly on Earth/Mars i had planned out Totally, this would even had set up a sequel that would be Part 4 a mission to LV-223 that would have catered for Alien Fans and been less ambiguous regarding the Xenomorph... this also had problems with HOW this would tie in with the Prometheus 3 (where David and Shaw go) and how that connects Engineers to LV-223.

So i just abandoned all 3 Concepts.

But yeah some ideas i had would have been interesting to see in a TV Series, because Yutani to me had a Great Rivalry with Weylands over AI and Synthetic Technology and Patents...    The Final Act of my Prometheus 2 we saw a Yutani Geisha Assassin Androids vs a Female Weyland Synthetic...  Big Twist at the END ;)  Which Causes the Merger!

Alien covenant 2

David status: dead. An experiment went wrong and One alien destroyed the android beyond recognition

Crew of covenant: all dead. Some eggmorphed, some Gave birth to aliens and a... queen.

Colonial marines army ship, weyland yutani company perfect organism capture ship and an engineer ship, all These space ships arrive to origae 6. The war begins between humans, engineers and aliens. In the end, a Predator Kills an engineer:whow.

Ps: forget the George Lucas trilogy kind.  You need to go back to the basics: a beast, evil by nature, born to kill everything, that knows and comunicates with other species using death and inflicting fear, pain and suffering. A perfect killing machine of males, females, Young, old and sick individuals, it doesn't matter.
