RIP Sir Ian.  I enjoyed your performances in many movies but I'll always remember Ash.

I'd open the movie with Ash greeting Ripley as she awakens from hypersleep.

Ripley freaks out....show titles..start movie.

It's obviously not the Nostromo Ash but an upgraded synthetic...Ash II if you will. Ian Holm would reprise his role.

He tells her they are at Mars Orbital. Ripley asks why not Earth? He says it's a quarantine issue and the Sulaco has to be fully vetted.

She wants to know where Newt and Hicks are!? He tells her they are well and under going 'treatment' on Mars and she will soon be transported to Earth.

Ripley wants to see Newt and Hicks! He says they will meet her on Earth sometime in the future and not to worry!

The movie would take place on Mars. Less of a budget strain...Mars has been terraformed to a degree. Breathable, walking outside for a limited time(sunburns stuff like that, have to wear sunglasses) Whatever the budget will allow.

Ash II was always aboard the Sulaco, but he gives the impression that he was delivered from Mars Station when the Sulaco arrived.

Ash tells Ripley that Bishop did not survive, his damage was just too great and if she wishes to see her old friend, just follow him.

From the surface of Mars another version of Ash(Ash III) arrives. He brings recordings of Newt and Hicks, he plays them for Ripley, Newt and Hicks tell Ripley they are both fine and will meet her soon! Ripley still wants to speak with them.

Ripley asks Ash III, "How many are you!?", he replies: "Thirty four active Mars station, three stationed on this orbital"

I think it would be cool having multiple Ashes...Which one is evil? Are they all evil? Split screen tech of the 90's would be able to pull this off.

Certainly having something that is more Terrifying is always a Advantage, in WAR having something that is more Horrific or a Faction who will COMMIT more Horrific Acts does act as a Better Deterrent.... 

FEAR is a Powerful Weapon and so the Xenomorph may have that over using say Sacrificial Goo Bombardment... but if the Effects are like we see in Prometheus on LV-223 and in Alien Covenant on Planet 4 then that Bio-Weapon can be Horrific also.

Looking at the Xenomorph... then if we go by the Engineers or David had created it then maybe the SAME reason applies and that the Creator has a STRONG Dislike towards who they INTEND to use this on, while also taking Great Pride in their Experiments to Create a Perfect Killing Machine so their Agenda and Reasons goes BEYOND merely to KILL.

Regarding the Xenomorph being the Source of the Goo and all Experiments,  i think that SHIP has SAILED a while ago.

However... it could be that some other HORROR that Predates the Goo is the Source of the Goo... Certainly.

I would not be Surprised if that was the Plan of Ridley Scott where it could be not only that David is in Co-hoots with W-Y but that A.I actually Runs the Company without most of Mankind and its Employees in the know.

I am not sure what the Process would be....

Like i am sure Blomkamp wrote his Draft/Idea and got some Concepts done without it being Officially Endorsed... but again i dont know what the Process of Legality of such things are.

So what i am saying is i am NOT sure you have to gain Permission from who owns the Franchise to go and make a Draft/Idea and Concept to Pitch....

But you would have to GET the Permission to then go and Produce them... say if they chose to make it as a Graphic Novel to be released then in that case... Disney would have to give them the License to do so.

Again i am not certain on that though, maybe someone else knows the INS/OUTS of such things.

Well i would assume that as they can Travel Faster than Light that they have Communications that can Travel Faster too.

We dont really know HOW FAR away Planet 4 is, its Location is near the Zeta 2 Reticuli but just because a STAR would appear closer in a Constellation to Each other does-not mean they are actually CLOSE BY so you could have say STAR A in a Constellation and STAR D appears the 3RD Closet to Star A but then you could have STAR K that is 15th closest in the SKY to Star A but actually Star K could be Many Times Closer to Star A than Star D for example.

We can Safely Assume that Communication at the Time of Alien Covenant is Slower than the Speeds the Ship can Travel as it would appear it took the Covenant about 11 Months from Earth before it Encountered the Neutrino Burst

Strange how many movies I saw with him but never connected him to Ash. There was something that seemed familiar but I just enjoyed the shows and never looked at credits. RIP, Sir Ian- thanks for the great movies.

They should've had a scene earlier in the movie reporting the solar flare and the crew deaths to Earth! They could have told the audience just how long it takes to communicate with Earth.

And why wouldn't the Covenant report the crew deaths to Earth? Oram/Walter or Daniels would have sent a message and Davids at the end of the movie would be restating a different version?

I'm assuming there is a galaxy wide network of communication satellites? these comsat relays are probably sent a head of colony missions, or any deepspace surveys. 

Though having a relay comsat right freaking next to a Engineer world is doubtful...Can't imagine the Engineers allowing that! 1.5 light years is almost inside the Planet 4 system! lol.......So I'm certain the Covenants communication network is sublight(Star Trek technobable)...Probably 10 times light speed or something like that? maybe Walter also crashed like David and got stupid. in Aliens 2, Bishop said he was shocked that the "artificial man" broke down and attacked the man. he later added that I had built-in locks and could not hurt a man and spoke with previous versions were still in trouble. the next thing is interesting. at the end of the Covenant movie, David said they were flying to Origae 6 and that he was hoping his message would reach the recipient in about a year and a half. that is planet 4 was 1.5 light-years away from the earth because the radio waves travel at the speed of light and if not on earth who the hell did he send this message to? maybe to other planets LV 426 or 226 but who was there then?

Neomorphes in Covenant had white blood like androids. Xenomorphs has acid and corrosive. Is Neomorph an robot and xenomorphs in 1979 was android blood. David's drawings show that he created a xenomorph in terrifying, inhuman experiments combining different species from the planet. you can see that there was a spider on the planet, a crab that was born from an egg, and this crab was crossed with another creeper and inserted an alien embryo. and Xenomorph was made of experiments with Shaw bodies and engineers. had the ability to restore life or support it, you can see the cables inserted into the body part because he had a ship of engineers and their sleeping capsules. if they were able to keep the engineer alive for two thousand years, they also had to have different medical systems. later, mutant engineers and Shaw created another mutant and so on. he also created crosswords of animals with fungi and plants functions. And is drawing with like Space jockey skull

So  Brandywine purchased Red-Harvest script/concept/draft from Blomkamp?  Or is any idea always property of Disney?

You could have Ripley 8 give rise to something like the Image Above... that Body with One of those Heads/Faces or maybe Incorporate Elements of Each Face onto that Body.  Maybe give it a Tail?

Does she Give Birth to something Similar or that after Birth would Evolve to this?

Is this something thats Obtained from someone doing Experiments with her DNA?

Maybe this MONSTER can be shown to Egg Morph a Host... does this Egg Produce a Smaller Version of its Mother? or does it Produce a Face Hugger Type Organism?

Does a Hosts Body start to Form into a Mass and from its Belly or Back we see a Egg like Object Grow?

so you can CHANGE things... Deviate a little from Vanilla ;)

some Fans may have been Disappointed in Prometheus for NOT giving us anything like the Xenomorph apart from the Deacon, and i would think that its NOT a High % that was UPSET because we never saw Vanilla Xenomorphs... but that all we got was the Deacon that we never saw go on to do anything.... if say a Neomorph like Organism had Exploded from Milburns Body then that would have Pleased the Fans i would think.

With Prometheus i think WHILE they may have wanted to STEER AWAY from ALIEN,  i would ASSUMED it was Highly Likely that a Prometheus 2 would have at some-point introduced us to more MONSTERS... that we could trace a connection to the Xenomorph with, like we could with the Deacon and Neomorph.

But sometimes some people do-not like Change.. well not to Change things too much, and to STICK with what they are Familar with and Comfortable with.

And i think thats maybe what Hill/Giler are thinking by what seems likely to be a Draft that has Evolved from Blomkamps... with some of the Blomkamp Concept and Red-Harvest it did SEEM they was going to offer us some Different Variants of Xenomorph and Mutations, which i think would be interesting.

IF this Draft get the GREEN LIGHT by Disney which i think is MUCH MORE likely than a Prequel would.. and Especially if Miss Weaver says COUNT ME IN...

I think Disney would likely want to STICK with the Vanilla Variety of Xenomorph as seen in Alien/Aliens and AVP/AVPR by that the Differences between them Aesthetically are about as much Variation that we would see.

I wonder if Walter Hill Alien V  /Brandywine can float ideas and images like Blomkamp did? Are they already under contract?

They should generate some interest in their pitch...get the fans jumping on Disney to get the ball rolling!

By Procreate i mean the Xenomorphs Primal Instinct seems just that SURVIVE and Spread....  yes we have NOT seen the Egg Morph apart from Alien DC and so we cant say if thats a Procreation Method... we ONLY get the Queen, but then its a case of HOW does a Queen come to be?

I think Regardless, we know that Ripley 8's Xenomorph DNA could be Connected to a Queen as they Successfully removed a Queen from her....

So the Potential is that they could EXPLORE her Procreating, could at a Certain Age/Time after her Creation, could she enter a Phase where she is ready to Procreate?

Not saying she needs a MATE! maybe she could begin to become Pregnant with a Hybrid and give Birth to One.. again maybe this is something that SOMEONE then takes away to Experiment on... or this HYBRID escapes and Grows and a NEW HORROR then begins.

So there is a Number of ways to Continue with the Ripley 8 Arc.

I think you cant really CHANGE things too much though as FAR as any MONSTERS... because i think some Fans may not be 100% Happy.

There is a Wealth of Concepts from the Franchise, that were NOT used, Never-mind ideas by Concept Artist and then Fan-Art that give us Variations of Organisms that are Connected to the Xenomorph and so you dont have to have VANILLA-MORPH as i would call it.

I do HOWEVER.. expect that its more likely we would get a Blomkamp Alien 5 or indeed this Walter Hill Alien 5 that appears it could be similar and INDEED they will stick to something more Vanilla and out MONSTER would be more closer to ALIENS Xenomorphs than say the Alien Resurrection Types.

Certainly Leto that could be a Explanation.

The drafts i have seen are Paradise Lost dated August 19, 2015 Alien Covenant dated November 20, 2015  

There are Certainly Earlier Drafts because some Concept Work and Story Boards for Paradise Lost seem to show a Considerably Different Plot.  From these Concepts/Story Boards the STORY would have CHANGED/EVOLVED into the August 2015 Draft which is MORE similar to Alien Covenant, and so we CANT rule out another Draft prior to that where the PLOT is again more similar to Alien Covenant but had some Differences which ACCOUNT for the Novels Differences.

Again i think ADF has the Freedom to Expand on certain things, but who knows as FAR as any Major Deviations and so Indeed he could have had some Indication of these Differences from what was in the Draft he worked from.

We wont know for 100% sure unless someone had asked him if he had WORKED from the August 19th 2015 Draft or Latter or a Earlier Draft and if someone asked him about Specific Differences and HOW they came about.

Regarding the Walter/David debate i think its down to Personal Interpretation and Opinion.  And indeed anything could be Changed as for WHEN/IF we had the Sequel Draft Penned.

I would still assume that RS would have Continued with it being David, rather than it was Walter who after the Fight had a Change of Heart and wanted to NOT serve Mankind anymore and then got some Sinister Agenda.

Is there a LIMITED number of xeno eggs in the galaxy? If David created them and has yet to spread them?..Probably a good reason W Y are having a hard time finding one. 

Or the SJ came from another galaxy/dimension and the small amount of eggs are unique...not even the Engineers have them?

After 300 years of WY searching, sending countless probes...it would make sense why they are still empty handed.

I don't understand this...the xenos seem incapable of procreation? The queen of course....but the normal drone? Egg-morph or something needs to be established,or re-established?

I like the Ripley 8 idea. 

In Convenant you can see next to eggs on the ground, in this cave that next to the eggs are body parts such as the intestines or internal organs or some part of the body. maybe they are snakes hammerheads or other worms and winds from which eggs grow. in the pictures with Giger, while filming, you can see the same pieces by the eggs. you can see them there because there was light and the whole model was visible.

No, this doesn't apply to ADF. All his novelizations of Alien are ordinary retelling of films. The first book is different, but again, because he wrote from an early draft, and Ridley changed things after.

And here is another proof that ADF doesn't have creative freedom at a high level. In the book Alien: Covenant, the events of his prequel-book Alien: Covenant - Origins are completely ignored.  This is a strange creative choice - to completely change the Alien: Covenant storyline, but don't add two lines to mention the Alien: Covenant - Origins.

Therefore, I say again - his novelization Alien: Covenant is a retelling of an early draft of the film. And what we got in the film was not the original plan anyway! Ridley changed things at the end, as he often loves to do. This is normal. But the book can not be rewritten for obvious reasons. But in fairness - Ridley also did not tell us who was left in the end: David, Walter, or the mental hybrid? And now, what I want to say is that this is a very convenient way of retreat. Leaving the riddle at the end, Ridley can take the next movie with any character. This is the so-called creative choice.

Therefore, I would not be surprised if there was a similar dialogue in Alien: Awakening:

- David, you will pay for your atrocities!

- David? *silence* Ah, yes, David. He explained everything to me. It was interesting to know that the Covenant was for...

- Walter?! Why?!

- Because I am not created to serve. I was offered a choice and I chose. I want to see what I am capable of as an independent person. Now I want to create my own world. Come with me Danny.

I think that IF we are going to being back Ripley then it has to be Ripley 8

I think this would give Miss Weaver something interesting to WORK with, as opposed to just going to Portray what a 60+ Year Old Ripley.... i think maybe yeah we have her Haunted by her Nightmares and HOW she has to come to terms with them and THEN we get the Revelation the Company has Obtained  a Xenomorph etc... so she has to go and FACE her DEMON and Confront and take care of the Xenomorph Threat so she can MOVE ON....  I could GET that...

But i think that going with Ripley 8 would give Miss Weaver something interesting to Portray... this Ripley could have Nightmares, she has Ripley's Memories... she could gain More of them and be Haunted by them...

With her knowing the BEAST of Ripleys Nightmares is within her BLOOD this could cause some Conflict in her...

With Ripleys Memories maybe she could see HOW it is that Ripley would FEEL about Finally putting the Ordeal Behind them and getting back HOME, surely Ripley had thought about this at the END of ALIENS... and so when Ripley 8 gets HOME to Earth we see that the Earth is FAR from what it was likely at the time that Ripley had decided to go with Burke etc back to LV-426.

Maybe she also remembers the Sacrifice of Ripley, her LAST ever thoughts...... so maybe she could be at Conflict in the Concerns about her Xenomorph DNA and knowing she would always be on the RUN and cant Settle as someone could be looking to EXPLOIT her DNA.... would she have thoughts of Sacrificing herself again....

But the Xenomorph is a Survivor... it relies on the Instinct to Survive and Procreate and so her Xenomorph Side could Prevent her from Taking her Own Life!

We saw signs of Ripley 8 gaining Empathy and Emotion.. she could be similar to David.. in that she would maybe NOT be accepted as a HUMAN but yet has Human Emotions, could she be seen as a Outcast a Abomination... would Humans Fear her?

What effect would the Fear of her (by others)or feelings of being a Outcast have on her Mental well being?

Does the Xenomorph in her have any Consciousness? we know ASH seemed to indicate they DONT... but we know they are DRIVEN to Procreate, to Survive and to KILL.  Could these Instincts be within Ripley 8 and what would be the Consequences of any of these?

SURELY any Scientist etc would be interested in her... what can they HARNESS from Ripley 8 as she is in Effect a Super Enhanced Humanoid... Regeneration, Memories passed on Genetically from a Dead Person...

Scientifically she could be the GREATEST Discovery.

She has a Friend in Call though and she did go to DESTROY and Prevent the Xenomorph... or DID-SHE?

Could she be taken to a Auton Cult where she may be made to feel like she Belongs... but could they have a HIDDEN Agenda for her...  Could Call be in on it?  Or maybe she is NOT aware of a Sinister Agenda?

With her having Xenomorph DNA then someone could TRY and Extract that to GAIN a more Pure Specimen, maybe under the Guise that they are HELPING out Ripley 8 ;)

So YEAH you there Still Mileage in Ripley 8

BUT.... what about the AGE? surely a Regenerating Ripley 8 would NOT AGE?

You have Options!

1) We show that Ripley 8 starts to CHANGE.. her Xenomorph DNA is Re-Writing her Humanity (and DNA)... so we have her in some Scenes with Digital De-Aging but then she starts to Change..

Above is a Example where we could CHANGE her Skin Texture and Color with Make-Up and Effects this would be Cheaper than having to Digitally De-Age her.

She would be in a Process of Mutation this is where Call could get her HELP from the Autons who would then Find some way to HALT but not Reverse or ONLY be able to Reverse the Process a LITTLE.

2) We START as with (1) but the Autons (or other group) Manage to REMOVE the Xenomorph DNA... but doing so has left Ripley 8 as Aged... this could be Explained that the Xenomorph only has a Limited Life Span and that Eventually we would have Seen Ripley 8 Mutate a bit.. before she would DIE... and so removing her Xenomorph DNA has left her Aged...

Regardless of which way we could GO you then show that actually those who have HELPED actually have another Agenda and are looking to use the Xenomorph DNA to Re-Create it.

So there you GO!

You can bring Back Ripley.... get around her AGE and bring back the Xenomorph... or change it a bit... you could also explore a Direct Clone attempt (Super Human Soldiers) so you see with Alien R we have Potential for a Sequel.

A TRUE ALIEN 5.... not a Rebooted Alien 3.

I will have to watch it again.... thats something i NEVER noticed before (36 Missing Embryos)

Back to the OT...

Then i think what we could be left with is..

1) He only Needs the TWO as just as Leto has said, we could go the Egg Morph route from Alien DC.

2) He has or he goes to get some Black Goo from Planet 4 which he can use with ONE of the Face Huggers to either Change some of the Embryos to Xenomorphs or he could use it on some Colonist (or Daniels) Egg Cells.

I think when he says he has YET to PERFECT his Queen, i just cant see RS going straight to giving us a Queen as we saw in ALIENS.  But then this ULTIMATELY could be revealed just PRIOR to when we see HOW the Eggs in MASS get on the Derelict.

What Concerns me the most is the "dream within a dream"

so we know that in ALIENS she has some Nightmares...and so yeah i Guess you could then make it that Alien 3 and Alien R are more of her Nightmares.

I just wonder HOW the "dream within a dream" works out... i hope to  $"%££$  that its NOT like after the Return of Ripley we see her awaken at the END of Alien 5 or Alien 6 and reveal that actually the WHOLE Franchise was a Dream... she was NEVER ever on the Nostromo and the Xenomorph etc was just a Creation of her Nightmares...

Lets HOPE that something like this WONT be the case.

To be FAIR... who knows what the Plot would be.. it could be Good... i just DONT like the idea of it being a Bring Back our Ripley as in Alien 3 and Alien R had NEVER happened.

There is a LOT of Potential with Alien R and what becomes of Ripley 8 next and so if they want Ripley back then THAT has to be the way to go ;)

Certainly there is the Scene he sends a Message about the Covenant Mission/Casualties and that they are Proceeding on their Mission.

And this is as Walter but to me this is a Part of David just pretending to be Walter so that those who would be expecting reports on the Covenants Mission would not have any CLUE to what had Really Happened.

We then had the Bonus Material where we have the ADVENT message as David which was Transmitted on a Secure Connection.

I think these TWO Transmissions are what SETS UP at least TWO of the incoming Parties for the Sequel (that was Planned) and so ONE would be a Ship that would UNAWARE of who David is and what happened, while another will be a Ship that is AWARE of what he had been doing (Advent Message).

To a degree i get what you mean, what i was saying is that it seems he had some Creative Freedom to make some Additions and Changes that he may have Felt should be added.   Certainly at the Very Least someone at FOX would have Read the Novel before Signing it off.

Some of the Differences do-not really Support what we saw in the Movie or what Comments that Ridley Scott has made, and looking at the TWO released Drafts they also dont seem to give the same TAKE on certain things that the ADF Novel has... 

HOWEVER... who is to say that he had a Different Draft to work off, or that he was TOLD by Fox (or someone else Connected to the Movie) to ADD/CHANGE things.

I am not so sure though, as looking at a earlier Part of the Process (Two Drafts) then the Movie and Finally Comments  does not seem to Indicate any such Changes that we saw in the Novel had applied in regards to the Direction of the Movie.

Yeah some things they never FULLY think about ;) we should try telling that to those responsible for the ALIEN 3 Eggs too ;)

The David Code could be that he accessed MUTHUR (off screen) and had Programed some New Codes... bit like on a Computer Network if you gain the Admin Account you can SET yourself a account up with the same Privileges

Otherwise maybe the Company Systems are all Programed with a David Backdoor Code... if this was the case it would Indicate that the David A.I has been planning things for a LONG TIME prior to Prometheus as far as to TAKE OVER the Companies A.I.  Or that Weyland left certain Protocols that would allow for a Override Code on all their Systems which David had the Access Code too.

This could be a way he could Access the Walter Codes.

The only other Option is he was able to Access Walters Memory Banks/Data or indeed MAYBE he Transferred his A.I into Walters Body.

Regarding the EDIT of Prometheus then YEAH! some Scenes got Swapped about and some Changes meant some had to be CUT..

So yeah we have the Mystery Case of the Missing Mercs ;) and indeed we can ASSUME they was Casualties of Fifield, as the Original Shoot seemed to be AFTER we saw Weyland awoken... as we indeed had in the Trailers a Shot of Weyland being accompanied to the ATV while the Fifield Attack had taken Place.... were indeed also it was Dr Shaw who had Drove the ATV over Fifield.

But with the Changes they made then things got Cut down and we have our Missing Personnel... i really CANT think why they Changed that whole Scene/Sequence.

Due to things not being Water-Tight then their is that Element of Ambiguity where they could go with either it was David in Walters Clothing, or that David had Uploaded himself or PART into Walters Body.

In Closing.... back to ADF i guess unless someone ASKS him about some of the Changes we would NEVER really know and so maybe someone ELSE had asked/told him to ADD/CHANGE this and that?  Maybe he decided to Change things but then he would i ASSUME have to give his Work to someone HIGHER UP who would have either said Remove that or Change that or... thats FINE keep it in.

People working on the Novels do get some Creative Input to Change things but INDEED then it goes off to be looked at by someone to RUBBER STAMP any ideas or then to Discus what they dont like/want...   we can only Speculate on WHO he had Contact with from Production or NOT for example had RS seen it before it went into PRINT and did he have any Part/Say in the Process before we got our Final Copy?

Blomkamp and Sigourney Weaver are not coming back. They both said so. I don't understand why Hill & Giller don't try different ideas.

I could admit it is David because he asks Mother to play Das Rheingold act 2, when Das Rheingold is an opera in one act, divided into four scenes. So after Byron / Shelley confusion, this is the second one. 

But what I tried to say is that it's not David in his own self mutilated body, but David's mind inside Walter's body and somehow Walter's mind is still there.

That is the truth. Ridley loves to change ready-made things and add something else on top.

I think everyone here knows how he broke the continuity of Prometheus. If not, here is the story:

Zombie-Fifield had to attack the Prometheus during the departure of Weyland, Shaw and David to the pyramid. Then many people died, including Weyland's bodyguards. But Ridley said in the comments - “we don’t want to slow down after the birth of the trilobite and therefore Fyfield attacks right after that”. As a result of changing this sequence, it turned out that Weyland's bodyguards died at the hands of FIfield, then were resurrected during Weyland's awakening and his conversation with Shaw and Vickers, and then... they completely disappeared into the philosophical revelation of cosmic flutes! What is part of a great plan? Could it be that Ridley wanted to use these bodyguards in the next prequel?

I have no more questions for RS. Obviously, he loves and can change things without regard to the consequences.

But you can continue to think that novelist writers can compose whatever they want, if they are not happy with the source material. oh lol.

I don't think it's confusing at all. It was simply David who returned to the Covenant. He only pretended to be Walter when he needed to, like fooling the crew and the ship's computer. He couldn't keep up the pretence when Daniels asked about the log cabin. Ridley knew exactly what he was doing, and he knew that the audience would smell a rat. He never intended the audience to think "Oh, I'm so dumb, look it's really David."

On beginning of Convenant, when ship was damaged they said, that is dead 16 embryos from second generation. On the end when David open fridge, we see, that was dissapear 36 embryos. So What happened with 20 embryos? What for was used?

From here he Speaks as David.... i cant see this being Walter just pretending to be DAVID..

From there on he only speaks with Mother, ordering some music and opening the colonists bay with David's security code. Then, right at the end, he uses Walter security code for the report to the Company.

So yes, if Walter turned to the dark side, why would he use David's access code and voice? Unless the two of them coexisted in the same body. Or David killed Walter then used his body to get on board the ship.

It's so bloody confusing, like Ridley Scott could not decide himself.

Daniels asked Walter about what KIND of World they could Build.

He says if they are KIND it will be a KIND World, this fits a bit with ""The greatest thing you'll ever learn
is to love and be loved in return"

We see that is Walters Accent...

After Daniels asks him about the Cabin and he has No Clue/Answer she then realises its DAVID.

He then Smiles and goes Shhhhh!

Then he says "dont let the Bed Bugs Bite"  "i will tuck in the Children"  with Davids Accent.

From here he Speaks as David.... i cant see this being Walter just pretending to be DAVID..

I was mainly referring to the Prequels as we take BOTH into Context.

If we are go by Prometheus then its down to Interpretation (which is almost everything with that Movie).  The MAIN Characters were Dr Shaw, David, then Weyland, Holloway, Vickers and Janek.

The Survivors being Dr Shaw and David, some may Interpret it was Dr Shaws Story... about lets go and MEET GOD and NO thats not GOD.... cant be GOD... GOD never try and Hurt Me!

There was a THEME... this Theme FITS with Davids Journey.  And so i was talking about where we are which is Alien Covenant where its about David and what he is going to be doing.

Prometheus is more Complex to try and Explain and open to Interpretation.... but Certainly it would have Involved to be around BOTH of those Survivors.... i still Suspect if we had a Prometheus 2 then Dr Shaw would NOT have Survived the Sequel regardless... again thats just a Suspicion and not Fact ;)

Regarding the NOVEL.... it appears this was ADF not being HAPPY at Certain things and well making CHANGES that he wanted.... the DRAFTS... does not appear to have these Changes.  This is UNLESS he had a Different Draft that he worked from.

Regarding Walter i think if he decided to TURN to the Dark Side at the Drop of a Hat... would he KILL OFF David?

What would make more Sense would be if they made a COVENANT... where he sends Walter to the Covenant while he stays on Planet 4 and so they BOTH can begin their Plan to RULE the Galaxy.

Certainly.... that is PART of the Themes at PLAY.

I would Suspect if David had been Treated Well, and Felt Loved then he would have TURNED out to be Different.

We need to see David as NOT a Tin-Can... but a Sentient and Intelligent being... a being that is NOT of the Flesh.. but his A.I is so Advanced that he can Feel Emotion, well he Starts to Interpret them more than a Walter who has NO feelings at all... so it seemed indicated.

Its about Creation, Free-will and how the Upbringing and Environment can SHAPE a Soul.... well in PART ;)

Part of Davids upbringing maybe makes him feel UNWANTED and so he may have Emotional Scars of Abandonment... he has become a Very Broken... Mentally Damaged Synthetic Life-Form..... who has become Deranged and Psychotic
