@Leto
I think yes you have to make sure you have a Good Writer, but then there is a lot of work to make something thats going to pull off/work.
Alien Covenant had taken us to Direct Prequel Territory, it appeared and Ridley Scott confirming that the plan is for the Prequels to take us to the Back Door to ALIEN, were it seems the END GAME would be show HOW/WHEN/WHY those Eggs get onto the Derelict.
If you look at Alien Covenant it could appear that its SET-UP for such a Conclusion, by what it had shown regarding David and his Creations, and then the Coincidence that the Covenant had Thousands of Good Souls and so some Fans could be drawn to a conclusion that these Colonist could end up playing a ROLE in how David manages to Create those Thousands of Eggs.
The Problem is most Fans are NOT at all Pleased that David could be the Creator of the Xenomorph, but its a case of HOW do you proceed with another Movie, and show that David did-not create those Eggs on the Derelict? Because should we try and to this, then its going to still be expected that we would have the Explanation for the Xenomorphs Origins and HOW/WHEN/WHY those Eggs get on the Derelict and so IF we show that its NOT by David then maybe they have to still show WHO instead Created them and HOW they get on the Derelict.
some Fans were Disappointed we never got to carry on with Dr Shaw, and what she could have Discovered about the Engineers, and with the Engineers also DEAD then its HOW do we find out more about them, not only their History etc but also their Agenda? I think its tricky to bring Dr Shaw back, some may like this idea, some may not... maybe some Flash Backs? Who knows.
The Engineers could return and its likely and likely the Plot Device to obtain a Engineer Ship (Derelict) but its a case of in which Context and how Deep do we delve into the Engineers? Prometheus and especially by Virtue of the Deleted Scenes, had made them a bit of a Mystery, all we know really is they created us (so it seems) they got angry with us, created some Horrid Bio-Weapon to use on us and lost control of it and it killed them nearly all off.
some Fans are Interested in the Creators, Chariots of the Gods Plot, and would like to see more of this route and some Fans are NOT interested in this Philosophical/Creation concept and want to just see the Engineers Return tooled up and ready to TEAR the Head Off David.
some Fans may want more Philosophical Scenes like some of the Scenes between David and Weyland, David and Oram and David and Walter... while some Fans would not want to see this sort of stuff.
Some fans would not want to see David's role in Creating something else and Building a certain World especially if this is NOT going to be about Creating a World of Horrific Beasts and so any Plot where David say Creates/Evolves his own Humanoids would not appeal to some Fans... and there are some Fans who are plain and simple not interested in a Movie that revolves around DAVID.
You have to have more Human Characters and they have to be Well Written, but its a case of what becomes of Daniels and Tennessee and IF we dont see these Characters, or much then any they Introduce us to surely also CANT be used for just ONE Movie... unless we are ONLY getting the ONE to Connect to ALIEN.
I think as we are on a Direct Prequel route then Most Fans are going to be Expecting to see Xenomorphs, or very similar, they are going to expect a SET-UP where the Movie After will be covering WHEN/HOW the Eggs get on the Derelict.
so a Movie that does-not have Xenomorphs or Similar, that does-not clearly Set-Up that the NEXT one will take us to the Derelict and Eggs would be something that SOME Fans would NOT be interested in, and if the Alien Covenant Sequel covers a lot about David what other Life/World he Creates that is NOT related to Beasts/Horrors and is Philosophical Heavy then this would be seen as a Distraction for most Fans.
Like it or NOT... its expected we are heading to the Derelict and those Eggs and so the Xenomorph would be expected to play a ROLE.
Like it or NOT... Ridley Scott seems to think the Emphasis on David and him creating the Xenomorph and maybe other things is what maybe we are in store for.
Like it or NOT... its likely the Engineers Return but maybe in context to our LV-223 Aggressive Angry SOB's who will be on a Warpath/Revenge. So we may not explore any History or Philosophical route to them.
You cant really cover all this and please everyone with just ONE Movie, and so if we have 2-3 more Movies then Each Movie has to Engage and Please the Mass Fanbase, else they would not be so many who would go and see any Continuations and leave the Prequels Dead in the Water!
So its really HARD to come up with a Solid Plan thats Guaranteed to Work. Your NOT going to please/cater for everyone and while its expected to connect to ALIEN, i think they have to make it more about the Xenomorph and HOW the Derelict and Pilot come into play..
And so "what kind of world" David would create, could be a Distraction, and maybe we NEED a After-Math Movie to THIS instead.
Like how Alien Covenant was a After-Math of what happened between David and Dr Shaw from Prometheus to after the Bombardment, includes Dr Shaws FATE and Davids Experimentation.... Alien Covenant had BY-PASSED this.
such a CROSSING Movie may-not have appealed to the Masses, and so a Davids World may also not appeal too.
I highly doubt that David is the Space Jockey, plus I don't see how would that happen. We know from RS's comments that the Engineers from Planet 4 were the civilians and the ones from LV-223 were militant types. The physical differences might suggest that those Engineers were genetically enhanced for space exploration and combat.
The Space Jockey might just be an enhanced and enlarged version, similar to some Tyrant models from the Resident Evil series, and the Assassin predator from The Predator (2018).
Considering the square-cube law, I imagine the 15ft SJ to look something like the giants from Game of Thrones (thicker legs, wider appearance, etc. which might also explain the differences).

So in the end for the climax the SJ gets facehugged and it dies in its seat giving birth to Ultramorph. And our heroes have to kill it.
I just hope we get to see a xenomorph born from an Engineer on a big screen. They used Beluga-xenomorph from Jon Spaiht's Prometheus script for Alien: Covenant, so I hope they use Ultramorph for Alien: Awakening!
Well done everybody!
Who would have thought spammers could be useful? It's been good to re-read some older threads & even have them rejuvenated!
...and at least one 25 ft Space Jockey, who saves the day & quarantines a cargo of eggs on LV-426! :)
Please don't let it be David, bad enough that we are supposed to believe he created the Morb!
I once had a copy of NECRONOMICON, sadly no more. I do have NECRONOMICON II though.
Dark Nebula I found some trash if you could take it to the curb. Sent PM!
Michael was fantastic in his duel role!
Hopefully, the focus of Awakening wouldn't solely be on David. We need the angry Clone Engineers, hell bent on retribution!
Perhaps even a higher power/elders adding to the mix.
IgnorantGuy, i'm going to create a topic, where you can ....have Access to the 'Necronomicon', you and everybody that wants to see the masterpiece of H.R. Giger.
It's very good, but it's not a Giger!
It's a tribute by Maxa-art
Seems like they pop up right around a movie release or big event. Oddly, it can be interesting to see a thread from 2017 pop up and still seems relevant.
Interesting. Fans seem divided on David in future films. I thought he was fantastic but also think the focus should be elsewhere. Engineers or WY. David and the Xeno could be there but maybe take a few steps back to let other subjects shine.
Thank you dk and, Chris!
I remember one time when I reported like +10 spammers to our discord mod chat room, Svanya almost fainted. We had a shit ton of spammers but now numbers are decreased. Still, we keep an eye on them.

I think JC had the concept for the queen but there was a small army of actual artists and designers who made it happen.
ignorantGuy Morrison wannabe. Ha- that's a new one! I always thought of him as Evil Elvis. How the Gods Kill is a pretty good listen though.
I had the reference that the image was from necronomicon's H. R. GIGER. But now, after seeing all the Pages of the book, i AM sure that it isn't.
If you want my precise accuracy, everything related to the space creature, every Monster sculpture, every picture is based on H.R.Giger's artwork.
Jim Cameron didn't honored the artist H. R.Giger. He didn't include H. R. GIGER in the making of the movie 'Aliens', the artist that designed the xenomorph and had a big part in the success of Alien 1979 film. How derranged is Jim Cameron? Treating H.R. Giger like a disposable asset, but taking advantage of its art.
I still think that he copied the alien Queen, because the Queen is a xenomorph, it's a La Palice truth, but it's still a truth.
Reshaping isn't creation.
Ps: This picture is really from the book 'Necronomicon' and, at the top of it, That skull looks very similar to the head of the New born, the Monster from the 'Alien resurrection' film.
With a little bit of imagination, i almost can see, underneath the newborn head, the heads of Two neomorphs, facing each other.
Should make it into a TV series
Thanks dk! I have to give a big shout out to our mods as well. I'm usually busy with code and news articles and emails. They really help keep this place clean and fun.
Not only that, the members we have here are absolute gems and I appreciate each and every one of you for keeping the discussions flowing. This community wouldn't be what it is without you guys!
I agree with BigDave that the Queen painting does not seem too be a Giger piece, as it is not even seem to be airbrushed as the artist used to work. Maybe we can receive a page number and/or more details about the book?
@dk the painting is from 1976 and is called Meister und Margeritha (The Master and Margarita) named after the famous Bulgakov novel. It was not done as a commission work for the Morrison wannabe. Giger made album cover omissions for : Walpurgis; Emerson Lake and Palmer; Debbie Harry; and Steve Stevens & the Atomic Playboys.
It really is HARD to think of 2 Movies to connect to ALIEN that will please even 50% of Fans... a very hard task!
Just good writing.
You totally screwed up. This is not Giger's picture.
I think we are in a MESS at the Moment....
We have gone this Direct Prequel route to introduce Xenomorphs and the Origins and it will be expected at the CLIMAX of the Prequels to show us the Following.
*WHEN/HOW/WHY those Eggs get on the Derelict.
*WHY/WHEN/HOW is the Space Jockey connected.
*WHO/HOW/WHEN Does the Xenomorph from Alien/Aliens come into existence.
Most Fans are not going to want David to be responsible for these, or have a Movie thats about HIM, that is less about Engineers and Xenomorphs.
You also do need Human Characters and introduce them into the FRAY... but how do you cover all of this into TWO movies?
Xenomorphs, Humans, Engineers, David and what ever he Creates... if you look at the Order Most Fans would think the Movie needs to be about more, i am sure the Xenomorph would always come in at 2nd/3rd and David Last! as far as most Fans.
The Climax being expected to show HOW/WHEN/WHY those Eggs get onto a Engineer/Space Jockey Ship that ENDS up on LV-425
A lot of Philosophical and Creation Stuff especially regarding David and what he would create would be seen as a Distraction NOW we are on Prequel Route.
It really is HARD to think of 2 Movies to connect to ALIEN that will please even 50% of Fans... a very hard task!
I think you raise a Good Concern that many do...
When you look at ALIEN (apart from Human Characters) it was about the ALIEN Monster those Eggs, and then to Ponder what the HELL that Pilot was doing with those Eggs, who was HE? where did he come FROM? Why did he have those EGGS? where did the Xenomorph come FROM?
To have all those things pushed aside to be about David is a Distraction that Displeases most Fans, i think you can try and FIX it but now we are in DIRECT PREQUEL Territory Fans are going to want to know HOW/WHEN/WHY those Eggs get on the Derelict, and HOW the Eggs came to be and WHY the Space Jockey would have them.
And Most Fans would HOPE its nothing to do with David.
I think they could take on board some problems with David and attempt to improve things, but indeed the ALIEN Franchise is Considered to be about Xenomorphs, Prometheus tried to expand up this to cover the Space Jockey and Engineers. And so too much Emphasis on David is a Distraction to both.
We are NOW on Direct Prequel Route where any movie is going to have the Fans wanting to know WHEN we discover the Xenomorph Origins and HOW/WHEN/WHY they end up on the Derelict and then HOPE that its not via David.
It really is a Pickle....
Because the NEXT prequel has to be more about the Xenomorph Origins and Engineers than David or what else he would Create, otherwise Fans will think this is getting LESS connected to what ALIEN was about, and would NOT want to then see another Sequel (AC3) if the Next Movie steers too much away from the Xenomorph and Space Jockey.
some Good Points Thoughts_Dreams
The Purpose of this Topic was to think HOW can the give us Alien Movies in context to being about Aliens as in Xenomorphs or Related, that does-not have to revolve around David or Ripley.
Introducing the Engineers could be interesting, it depends on WHERE/WHEN we do a Movie where they are introduced as we need to be careful to NOT step on the Toes of the Franchise.
So if we want Engineers with Xenomorphs or Similar then we have to maybe either be set in a place FAR away from where the Alien Franchise takes place or a Time-Line thats AFTER the Alien Franchise.
Which as i said IF the Xenomorph Origins are via David then this limits any encounter that would include the Engineers to maybe introduce something that is LESS Xenomorph.
The Prequels have been Hit/Miss.... Prometheus intending to go off to something different, but FOX feeling that Fans wanted Xenomorphs and Origins and so we ended up with Alien Covenant.
Where do you take the Prequels? This is something thats HARD to continue and please a lot of people.
A Nostalgia Reboot of Alien 3 is not the Answer, and a continuation of Alien Resurrection about Ripley does-not have to be the ONLY way to carry on the Alien (Xenomorph) Franchise.
So there are other ways to cover the Xenomorph or similar, and if we want to throw the Engineers into the Mix, its limited unless we explore Monsters that are not quite Xenomorphs, unless they go the route that David did-not create the Xenomorph.
I think the NEXT ideal way to explore the Franchise is one of these!
1) A Alien Prequel that visits LV-223. (Give clues to Xenomorph but maybe not have them).
2) A Aliens Sequel that goes to LV-426 (Cover Xenmorphs but maybe change things a bit)
3) A Alien Resurrection Sequel (that could change things a bit and does-not have to have Ripley 8).
4) A Parallel Alien Resurrection Movie (that covers what happened to the Failed Ripley 7 Clone Queen)
5) A Mission to another World that the Engineers have experimented on, or that there experiments originated from (prior to LV-223) or other World they had used Bio-Weapons on.
"A random idea: I would like to see how the Xenos work without a queen"
I think that would be interesting as well as discover HOW/WHEN a Queen comes to be.
OT pic looks like an actual Giger work for a Danzig album:

The Image in the OT as far as i am aware is NOT by HR Giger, i dont think Cameron had borrowed anything (that was already borrowed prior) from HR Giger apart from the Queen has Similar Hands to one of HR Gigers works.

I dont think Cameron is the only one who has not given HR Giger as much Credit as he deserved.
I don't think he copied it. It's a shame Giger wasn't mentioned. Giger is listed in the actual credits under "other crew" as original alien designer.
To not have it centered around the Xeno is fine but they need to center around the human journey and have human characters that are a lot better than what we have had this far in the prequels. I do not give a F about the android tale, they can flush that down the toilet. Give us more about the Engineers, they are interesting.
Sure the AVP-s were not good but the prequels have good parts about them and bad parts which make them average. His ideas about the Engineers in Prometheus might have been right but the human characters lacked. I am tired of the evil android kind of thing that AC turned into, that was crap when there were no human characters to care for but if they would have gotten more of the humans OK then I would not have complained even though David was still the creator of the monster (an idea that in itself is dumb human creating android creating a monster, it makes it too close to humans, I want it to be from another world which makes it more unknown).
Nah, my problem with Prometheus was not the lack of Xenos, it was about poorly written and/or executed human characters. Look around the www and you will see that.
Leto:
"Just look at the cut scenes from Prometheus - they are better than final cut! Better."
Exactly
About cutting scenes. Maybe it is not only that but also since they need a run-time in the movie theaters. The shorter the movies are the more tickets you can sell so you can show it more each day which potentially means $. Sometimes make it shorter might help but not in this case (Prometheus) when they cut out important parts. Most of what were cut out (at least of what I have seen) should have been left in because it builds characters, make some things look less stupid, and so on. I am not sure how they thought when they were editing it, because they made a shit job there compared to how it could have been. Sometimes I watch Prometheus so it is not totally crap but it is disappointing when I think about how it could have been.
I agree that they could try to show us an Ultramorph, that could be interesting but since they seem to be bigger they should also maybe be more difficult to kill. It should not be so easy as to just kill them with a rifle.
If they make characters that we can connect with, stop the android crap, and introduce something new then why not? The Engineers is something that could be expanded on (not really new but at least it is fresher than the Xeno and more interesting than the androids). About the prequels, if they do not continue with it then I would not be sad because they have turned what could be interesting into a yawn.
No thanks to Blomkamp, it would be a recycling at least if they have Ripley and Hicks in it. If they do not have them then maybe it could work but anything that retcons Alien 3 is something that I will be against.
Maybe they could find things that are interesting in the shorts and expand on that. At least they were better than what we have been given after Alien 3.
No Ripley and no David thank you very much. Ripley is done and David is not very interesting to me after Alien Covenant. The theme of an android that has gone bonkers could work if they have human characters that are well written but AC did not have that in general.
I would rather start it all over than to continue with the prequels if that means more David at the cost of everything else, also please no more Ripley, or AVP.
Maybe LV-426 is not needed, I enjoy seeing new worlds although that is not enough. Did they not visit LV-426 in Aliens too? Give me other worlds that I can see how they look like.
"IF we assume David is the Creator of the Xenomorph…"
No thanks, that is crap. They need to change that in the franchise the faster they do that the better.
A random idea: I would like to see how the Xenos work without a queen, that would be interesting. Would they figure out another structure to communicate and so on? Not having a queen could mean more than egg-morphing but I am not sure how.
This has character development and is a lot better than the movie.
How did they manage to get such a huge mess of what it became? I am just shaking my head
Good work Neo-Jockey
Please do not let it be as disappointing as Covenant if there will be one. He might talk about the scariness and monsters but in reality he is only interested in David which I have no interest in. When they say that he is in talks about a sequel to Covenant I get worried.
To show something else in the last movie than the standard Xeno is alright, so we still have to make some guesses to how the Xeno came to be but do not make another android movie. I am worried that we will get a David 3 kind of thing which would be crap after all this waiting and discussions if we would get another movie or not. That would be like trying to make a cake waiting for it to be done in the oven and when the waiting is over it turns out to taste horrible, I don't want it to be like that. Do not give us a Covenant 2 or rather another movie about David.
"A third prequel, which he will direct, is in the script phase."
They do not tell us where that came from where they say that they are about to write another prequel so I am not sure about that. Variety is a magazine, I would like to hear from some official channel before I take that as a fact. Do not believe in everything that you read. We will have to wait and see and get info from better place than that.
I do not care about what kind of world that David would create because I do not want a movie about him. AC was about David and his journey and it flopped so why risk money on another movie about the same character? From a money and profit point of view it just seems bad to do so. Hopefully we have seen the last part of the robot thing so we can put that aside. Either make good/well-written human characters or stop it
At this point I am eager to see more character developments, especially David. A Shaw return would be interesting either as a flashback or as a resurrection. I would like to see how Ash involved in Nostromo, also some background of Nostromo would be interesting for the last prequel of ALIEN. and no more Xenomorph, enough already!!!
He certainly has Ambition to do a Sequel, IF they (Disney) came up to him and said, "right we want to do a Alien Movie, it may be a Prequel or it may be a Alien movie set after Alien, and we want you on board".
I think Ridley Scott would jump at the chance, he would likely say "ok i will work on a Alien Movie as long is IF it is a success i can Finish off my Prequels next".
I think he is very inspired by the Fans Love for the Franchise and was Flattered by that High School Play of ALIEN. It would be interesting to see if he watched the Anthology Shorts and what he thinks about them.
@DinosaurRaghhh
I think he is interested in such themes, such as Blade Runner, and i think some people seem to look at AI in a Narrow way as in ROBOTS... but the Term Applies to Creating Life in a Artificial way that has some Intelligence to it.
so in that context the Xenomorph could be AI, the Replicants are AI, and the Prometheus Engineers could be AI.
Ridley Scott is a Fan of these themes as well as others from Prometheus, because he felt the Franchise could expand beyond the Xenomorph, and expanding on the Engineers you could cover more than just a Race who only deal with Xenomorphs.
You can bet that Alien Covenant was not the route RS would have likely wanted the sequel to Prometheus to go, but the Studio felt we needed to give the Xenomorph Origins and bring the Beast Back..... and so RS had decided (maybe) to bring in some of the AI elements and Prometheus Themes in context to David and the Xenomorph.
In Hindsight ONE of TWO things should of happened.
*Prometheus should have had more Clues to the Xenomorph and had some more Action/Monster Scenes like the Neomorph from Alien Covenant rather than just Zombie Fifield and a Deacon that we dont see what happens next.
Then enough may have been done to make the Xenomorph connection LESS ambiguous and with some Xenomorph like Monster Scenes the Fans would have been more Happy and then a Sequel could STEER away from Alien, as in a different Franchise (not about Xenomorphs) Prometheus then could have Closed the Door to Alien, then gone off and done something different in sequels.
OR
*They should have done a TWO Alternative Sequels to Prometheus, the First being a Mission to LV-223 which would take a more Alieny Movie that would have Xenomorph related Monsters, offer more Clues to the Xenomorph/Derelict and LV-223 Outbreak and Experiments and thus Close the Door to Alien
The Second being where David and Dr Shaw would be heading (Engineers Home-world) and have them go FAR FAR FAR away and NOT right on the Door-step to LV-426. Where Ridley Scott would have Freedom to offer a Alternative Franchise that is NOT about the Xenomorph.
But ALAS... Hindsight is a Wonderful thing.. but something that cant change the Past!
This is only a Rumor and if there is some Element of Truth then it could be a case of Misinterpretation, i think it would be more likely that Cameron is pushing for a Aliens Sequel this would be more Easier, because you could set it 25-30 years latter and bring back the Gang without using CGI or Time-Travel etc.
I am Only a Fan of seeing Miss Weaver in a Alien 5 as in sequel to Alien Resurrection, but IF a Alien 3 Reboot is made then i would accept it as a Alternative Path and give it a chance on its own Merits.
A Aliens Prequel that is to feature Ripley would be.. well Ridiculous if you ask me... whats the point? it would conflict the Franchise maybe.... well we did have that One Novel that was about Ripley set between Alien and Aliens, i have not read it as i think its a SILLY idea.... and then you have to use CGI!
It cant be a Reboot of Alien..... as Alien is mentioned in Aliens and the crew of the Nostromo are shown (well some) in the briefing between Ripley, Burke and Company Executives.
HOWEVER.......
What if this is a Alien Isolation Sequel?

Considering the Games are not quite Movie Canon... but could be....
If we go by Amanda Ripley as seen in James Cameron's movie ALIENS, then Sigourney Weaver at present does look a lot like the Amanda Ripley from ALIENS, but without CGI Overlay she would only be able to play a Amanda set what 5-10 years prior to ALIENS?
But i guess such a Time-Frame could cover her Death and show that it was related to events after Alien Isolation in a Conspiracy the Company wanted her DEAD!
Otherwise.... doing a Prequel to ALIEN were clearly Sigourney Weaver has aged 30+ years (could pass for 20 years older than in Alien/Aliens... but your not gonna get her looking like she is in her Early 30's without LOADS of CGI. So i think this would not make any sense.
To play a Amanda Ripley in her 50's i think Miss Weaver could pull that off with not much CGI etc, to pull of a Amanda Ripley in her 60's would be Easy. But to play a Ellen Ripley in her early 30's would just not work really.
Unless the CGI is exceptional.... but this is expensive and only ideal for Short Cameo's and you can have the chance of it being Shocking rather than looking Realistic.
Certainly DK
As discussed a few times there is Scope for expanding the Franchise beyond Movies and some Elements are best suited to a TV/Streaming Service.
Weyland-Yutani are not just about trying to obtain a Xenomorph, just as much as the Engineers are not just about creating such Horrific Bio-Weapons.
I am not 100% sure a Weyland-Yutani Series would be beneficial to be looking at the Xenomorph, but maybe the odd part would not hurt, but there are MANY other things Weyland-Yutani do.
Likewise a Colonial Marines TV/Streaming would also be something to consider as once again these Marines do-not solely just go around trying to take out Xenomorphs.
In context to doing Anthology Movies, the idea is basically like looking at some of the Expanded Novels, or those TV Shorts and imagining these being expanded into a Movie.
So a Anthology Movie could be a group of unrelated to a degree Movies that would feature Xenomorphs or similar (Deacon, Neomorph or other variants). or it could become a NEW series of Movies that are separate to the Ripley/Alien Saga or Davids Prequels.
You could maybe introduce Engineers in them, if you are careful about them not contradicting or affecting the Alien Franchise. Some Movies could be more a Aliens/Alien Resurrection type Action Based, others could be more a Alien/Alien 3 Haunted House/Survival Horror type or maybe a Balance of the Two.
Number of Avenues to explore.... some of these are related to the Prequels, which is maybe better to NOT touch, such as LV-223, Planet 4, and Origae-6 mainly because we have NO conclusion with the Prequels and so intentions of what becomes of these places. But that does-not mean a Alien Movie set after Alien could-not take place on such Worlds.
We have LV-426 and so when looking at Colonial Marines Game, a similar Plot could work (The company go back to the Derelict and attempt to obtain/extract it). We could wonder what happened to Failed Ripley Clone 7 removed Queen.
Or we could go to other Worlds/Avenues that are NOT in the Alien Franchise.... I think that Alien Covenant has caused a Problem with this however...
By that IF it is that David Creates the Xenomorph, so that his Beast from AC will Evolve to become that in Alien/Aliens, then looking at the Aesthetic we see the Xenomorph in Alien Covenant, Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection all have a similar look..... compared to the Deacon and Neomorph.
So we have to assume any Movie that would introduce Xenomorphs we would have to assume these Originated from David's Experiments and got to the SAID World/Ship via a Event after Alien Covenant.
Because we have to assume the Aesthetic Design of those Xenomorphs came from David's various Experiments and Combining different Organisms, and so in context to David Creates the Xenomorph, then other NONE Created Horrors from the Black Goo and Engineers Experiments would look DIFFERENT, but have some similarities... like how the Deacon and Neomorph are Different but have some Similarities.
Where as before Alien Covenant or IF we are shown that David did-not Create the Xenomorph and so its been around for Thousands of Years, then any Expanded Movie could encounter Xenomorphs or very Similar in any place really.
double post
Fincher could revisit the wooden world but I think he is still at least a little upset over A3.
Ahaha.
Ridley working on AC2
Cameron working on Aliens prequel
What next?
Fincher working on Alien 3 retcon?
Jeunet working on Alien: Earthbound?
. i am surprised nothing was teased on Alien Day, if they are under work on something.
I remember RS posting he waned Indies to scare him on 4/26 with the IGN supported shorts. It was hard to imagine he wasn't fishing for at least a vibe from the Alien crowd.
Ridley still seems way too obsessed without AI to make this a success. Maybe he is enacting his own hopes of being made immortal via robotics and can’t see the wood for the trees....
