Haha the green duck was totally a younger more pissed off me (hey it's better to be pissed off than pissed on amirite ;) on the keyboard after watching Prometheus.
I'm sure Fede will do a great job regardless of the connections to the other films.
Fede Alvarez: I love all of those movies, I didn’t want to omit or ignore any of them when it comes to connections at a story level, character level, technology level, and creature level. There are always connections from Alien to Alien: Covenant.
Alien Quadrilogy and prequels enjoyers:

Folks who expected Romulus will ignore and retcon prequels:

Hahahaha damn good!! You even put an apron on the xeno XD XD
Thank you very much.
Damn, I think I made that in 2016, I feel old.
Hahaha love it! You even used the same font lol
You've got talent Nebula, I remember your awesome Neomorph head back in the day that I used as my previous profile pic:

Hi, very nice work i like it !
Hi, great fanfic good work and thanks for sharing!
Here's one I made on March 21, and also shared it on the LV426 subreddit.

If you get the Darkhorse Aliens: Stronghold reference.

Yes! It all makes sense now lol
that's why the Queen takes Bishop and splits it in half. It's a REVENGE

@Jonesy that was hilarious! Really well done as well XD
I guess we can expect the android beating the queen then (I sincerely hope not lol)
Btw Rook also means swindler.
Jonesy has made a comeback lol

the only thing I can think of is ROOK takes QUEEN lol
Is there anything to be gleaned from the name Rook?

Your ideas are brilliant. I picture something very similar: the film opening to a haunting theme, letters slowly forming the title with clips of the frozen Big Chap in-between each letter. We see up-close shots of its fingers, its tail and finally the face, reminding us once again of the nightmarish and horrifying creature (scare-effect enhanced by the eerie soundtrack nettling through our ears and into the brain)
From the perspective inside a cargo hold of a ship (direction facing forward) cargo doors slowly open to reveal the silhouette of two figures in hazmat suits and the alien body from a distance as it draws near the ship's interior. The Alien title is almost complete.
In the next shot we see the the scary looking suits slowly strapping the alien body to a futuristic gurney. They push it towards the camera while the screen slowly fades out, the soundtrack reaches its spine-chilling crescendo and the title is complete: Alien Romulus.
The focus now shift towards the young colonizers. Destination: Renaissance station...
Hype level increasing!
I am picturing the film opens with the Narcissus panning away from the screen and leaving, and then we see a floating unconscious Big Chap drifting in space, and the A L I E N title emerging with haunting soundtrack
I saw someone mentioned that the chair (on the right side) is tipped over, indicating something bad probably already happened.
My guess is the film will open up with the W-Y company discovering the Big Chap drifting in space and taking him away before switching to where the main characters live, just to set the mood nothing too big. Then sometime later in the film the main characters find the lab and discover what happened that led to the downfall of the space station.
If we get to see Big Chap, I wonder will he have plantigrade or digitigrade legs?

Big Chap marks his prey before going in for the kill! Little did he know that Brett had some weird fetishes..

What? Chap is evolving!

Congratulations! Chap evolved into Big Chap!
No way that this is over yet. Bump!
Interesting, I hope that they'll get enough characters right so we have someone/some people to support.
love the poster
and I am imagining the full trailer showing after the credits end, kind of like an easter egg, and perfect as a "sequel"
Wow, great shot, but I'm also a little apprehensive about this. Probably it's just a short scene at the beginning of the movie, where they quickly explain that they've found "Big Chap" and have been playing with its DNA. Then, they dive directly into the movie with the young crew discovering the Romulus space station, and that's when the action starts.
If it were to be this way, I think it would be very disappointing. As an Alien fan, I would like to see more action and a story related to how "Big Chap" was found, more action in the lab, etc., and then gradually move into the story of the young crew.
Good one ^ lol. Now we know how Alien Romulus begins.
Thanks for getting this posted Nebula! Got it front paged for ya! I love the Romulus Lab teaser... Soooo pumped for this movie the more I see!
Huh, I wonder why they removed that part?
I would love to see a second attempt at Alien Crucible but using the ALIEN RPG system
Right on! My favorite is the classic RE2 (I have one new and sealed, black label) followed by RE4.
