Normal Xenos don't have blades, only the Ravager Xeno does.

And the Ravager's blades are on it's shoulders, not it's arms.

Folks, that isn't a suit-flaw or any type of special-effects attachment for lifting the actor out of the water. It was an addition to the alien-worrior design itself. It's basically a boney extension of the creature's exo-skeleton. It appeared only in ALIENS. The design was dropped for the sequels. I think Rick's right, part of the suit falling off. Look at the tail end too, isn't it supposed to come to a point? It looks kinda sloppy at the tip (lets keep it clean seriously)

actually you are both right. the thing on the arm is supposed to be there BUT the back tubes do appear to be falling off, or spinning around, probably from the water.

If all those seemingly thousands (maybe more) eggs were dropped from the derelict ship it would still take time for thousands of people to be facehugged! I would store up on weapons and ammunition. barricade the shit out of my home and sit and wait it out. No point in trying to be a hero when your worried about thousands if not millions of Xeno's.

Good thing that I live near weapon store. : D So I'd try to pick up as much ammo and guns as I can and barricade myself somewhere. And if things had gone wrong I'd probably try to kill myself in some painless way. The idea of wearing a xeno outfit is pretty much cool : D

Guys. Facehuggers don't give a shit about protection, the one in Alien 1 went through the freaking glass of the suit. It used some acid to destroy it, like it's saliva.

I'd cover my face protection with a strong Alkaline solution to counter act the facehuggers acid. Also have mirrored windows so the Xeno's would scare themselves away.......

It would be a free for all. Could you really imagine if something like the "war of the worlds" happened and people were being rounded up and made to further their species by use of facehuggers? Ouch.

long ago I had a dream about this - being cornered by an alien. I recall the best action was to present the back of ones' neck (base of the skull) as an obvious target so that you get a quick clean death.

Raid my local supermarket for drink, food, pharmaceuticals, Alcohol, supplies and cigarettes( I quit smoking but who cares now ) Then start barricading my home and prepare for attack whilst being extremely drugged up to avoid anxiety
