The 'Warning' theory could be the Alien tie in that people has been overspeculating about. Everyone is really preoccupied with the big Xenomorph question when it's frankly irrelevant. The Alien creature has been so bastardized over the years with variations that all mystery of it's behavior, appearance, life cycle, story role has been diminished. The Alien is no longer alien anymore. The classical elements of quality storytelling were lost in the later entries in favor of transforming the series into a Neo-exploitative-creature feature-slasher piece. If you make movies for "the fans" they typically blow, I.e Star Wars Prequels. "Fan Boys" should be excited about the mysterious nature of the territory. The xenomorph derelict egg chamber was one of many chambers holding unknown monstrosities. I hope they don't show anything about creature, until I'm in my chair donning big ass 3D shades getting my mind rocked. . .

I've always fancied the ideal the the Space Jockey had meant the warning for beings of his own species, alerting them that the ship was infected and not to approach/or land on the planet. Kinda like the modern day act of quarantining a city after a nuclear meltdown.

The transmission as heard in the cut scene from 'Alien' is a guttural, whooshing sound whose inhuman quality disturbs the cast. Dunno if it IS the SJ's last broadcast,or a degraded copy of Vickers' plea/mea culpa.

nope, and thanks for the concern man, it's beena nightmare...they take it from your bank account by diorect dep 5 days after installation, which I have now cancelled ,and then found another provider I am calling at lunch time to do it for even less, and with an even faster package.

Nice. Yeah you shouldn't have to put up with crap like that, especially if they expect you to be on time paying them every month. Good that you found a cheaper and faster service too. Never hurts to shop around :-D

Videotron, just FYI has been charging me between $145-$160 per month for their three pack...HS Inet service + Telephony + digital HD cable TV. I told them their cost is about $5 per month on what they are giving me and that the bandwidth for 2 of the three services is exactly the same and even the third, IP telephony, pretty juch uses the exact same bandwidth. I ordered them to charge me less, they refused and increased their charges for anything over 30 GB. I found a comparable service with a max out of 300GB for more than half of what I was paying, but getting them to honor their own arrangement ansd actually send the tech to do the install has been quite the frikkin challenge. The company I switched to is already bnehaving worse than the one I left. To me the biggest scam in the entire tech world right now, is what these providers get away with charging for bandwidth that should be free to all of us.

I know what you mean, at the moment I'm having to rely on using my phone for Internet by tethering it to my computer, if I use up the bandwidth I get with my phone recharge they increase every megabyte downloaded to $2 per mB. It's appalling. It only costs them cents on the dollar to send the data in the first place. They make an absolute fortune out of suckers like me......... But there isn't really anything I can do about it at the moment...... Soon though :-D

And i am happy caz i live in Ukraine ;p But actually to watch a movie in a cinema i must go to another town to see it, caz in my town cinema has closed .... But don`t think that every movie in our counrty comes out early...for example: Sherlock Holmes Game of shadows came out in Ukraine on 29th of Dec., while it came out on 15th of Dec in the world... Ghost Rider world premiere was set 15th Dec, while it hasn`t come out in Ukraine yet....

It is a member of the film crew. He is standing out because he is being illuminated by the light on the chestplate of the figure originally in question or perhaps a focused fresnel.

About the teaser still with the crew member in pain, can u see sth on the left of the screen where the metal is reflecting something? It looks to Me like a dark creature.

I originally thought I could see an Alien skull in the trailer where the crew member looks like he is getting acid splashed on his face..... Turns out it was the helmet of the guy wearing the glasses........ That's definitely one of the crew of the Prometheus from the back.

"PS: Ridley is getting really old" 75 this year? That he is going back to embellish the two works that the best part of his rep rests upon suggests he is only too aware of his mortality.

I tell you what he looks great for his age. I hope we all wear that well when we're older! He is extremely active on his sets and really has not slowed down much. Here's hoping he can kick out Prometheus sequel (assuming the first is a blockbuster) in the next year or two.
