It almost looks like our blue guy has a sort of slit in his back that would make him fit in - oh I don´t know - an SJ-chair? His biomechanical design fits the control room, and he looks like a humanoid race superiour to (and maybe creator of) human beings. I am sure this is a Space Jockey.

Hey Sham, Your thread is fixed. I agree to a point, I think the zerg is completely xeno'fied other than the snake like lower body. But there is only so much you can do to make a creature look xeno before you start falling into intellectual property infringement. But what you have here is definitely xeno'fied. Look at the lower faces totally xeno mouthed and then the skeletal ribcage is xeno as well. The armor throws it off though. Regards, Rick

That's an interesting, though bold and assuming statement Shambhala. Though it has been discussed as a possibility in some of the other threads, there has been no such confirmation. The words you are talking about appear in the Prometheus trailer, but again no confirmation that the signal intercepted in Alien was indeed from Shaw or any other human. Would be interesting, but we just don't know yet.

About the dialog in trailer, I think its different. Sounds to me like the first line she says is - you don't understand than she says we were wrong, we were so wrong and im so sorry. But that's what im hearing, anyone else hearing same

this just occured to me, if the first line she says in the trailer is "you dont understand" then.......we're so wrong, so sorry blah blah blah. so this cant be a transmission b/c she is talking to someone, shes speaking to someone directly, she would not be sending a transmission warning/sos containing a sentence like that. my guess is she is talking to someone from earth & explaining how they were wrong about the mission, and it was not what they intended it to be.

ah, but some people say they can hear Vickers say something in the background, so... Maybe the mission was Shaws idea but when the (cough) hits the fan Shaw radios Vickers and says what we hear leading Vickers to escape the Prometheus in an escape pod before Janek plays chicken with the Derelict. Maybe.

yea there is something in the background, sounds like the word please, but not the screaming "please" were familiar with. i wonder when the shite will hit the fan though, beginning, middle??? i would think the escape pod would be used towards the end of the movie but, in the end we're all speculating, so god (ridley) lol knows when

@Snorkelbottom, Why can't it be Shaw in the background? Poor girl stuck on the planet with her crappy suit-comm (maybe the "coming" that some people hear is actually "come in!"). Perhaps the other voice is Vickers saying "I was wrong, we were so wrong"? Who that message was meant for is another mystery...

Most people, and yes I'm one of them, believe the bulk of transmission at the start of the trailer is Shaw, with possibly Vickers in the background. It could be the other way round, and it might not even be a transmission/message, it could just be the audio from an as yet unseen scene.

gehirn, the voice doesnt sound like charlize though, the main sentences - you dont understand, we're so wrong, so sorry - thats all from the same person, its only one person saying those main lines we hear in the trailer. there are words in the background that are muffled but dont know what those words are, very hard to hear them.

@Jungapower, That's right, said like a real barbie girl American at the academy awards, "OMG I'm sooo happy"... @ReeceMacoy, The first part sounds ethnic, "you dun't understand my fuhrer". The last part seems to be in a different environment altogether, maybe a confined space/helmet. I'm starting to doubt the background noise actually ("coming/come in/prometheus"). I can't hear it continuing into the "so wrong" part. Maybe the whole lot of it is stringed together? Sigh... Back to square one ><

Not sure about the mein fuhrer line, I don't think that's in the movie. But the im sorry line could be from a different scene

yep background is "Come in, come in. Prometheus!, Prometheus!" ...and my personal opinion is the rest says, "You don't understand. It was what we found, it was soo wrong! I'm so sorry!"

@Spartacus, The curvature makes me think they're inside the derelict. @ Biomechanic, You can see the veins on Michelangelo's David, so maybe there are sculpted nose hairs in this case? : )

I think she's looking for a way in. : ) Think maybe I thought of an excuse for why they take their helmets off. Maybe they are trapped inside this cave or ship and their clean oxygen has run out so they have to take the risk and breath the alien atmosphere or suffocate. I can live with that scenario.

So someone set me straight. On the planet, once they've landed, the crew will be in both a temple and the derelict at some point? I thought it was just the derelict.
