You make some really good points. Corporate mergers rarely go well, often the new company wants to make the old management look incompetent and vise-versa, so sabotage from within sounds very plausible.
Also, your idea about 2-3 parties each having their own agendas sounds very plausible too! I remember on Prometheus when Meredith Vickers told Weyland she didn't want to stay behind on Earth, "sitting around in board-rooms arguing about who's in charge".
It certainly sounds like there is some discord within the company and I'm sure Weyland, Vickers and David's disappearance didn't help clarify things! Wey-Yu is probably a hot mess back on Earth. It's probably like Game of Thrones level office politics.

VivisectedEngineer Understood. However, I am OK with it since I had to share specific info to deliver a prize to the winner of our script read! My intent is not to insult, but I wonder if some members may not participate due to varying levels of technical expertise and/or being camera shy etc.
I would encourage everyone to go for it. Remember that we want this to be good and fun, but some like me freeze when it is time to talk and I make mistakes. If the shoe fits, I have some basic steps to follow:
- I came up with a general idea for each question and typed them as topics- basically like the basics of writing an essay
- I brainstormed and wrote a rough script and will hone those
- Make sure my webcam works and I have decent lighting etc
- Rehearse and record until I get it how I like to present. This can take time since I might stutter or sneeze etc.
Have fun! In the words of the late great Lemmy of Motorhead, "Fly your flag up the pole and see who salutes it!"
If your t-shirt order doesn't arrive on time, I'm more than happy to give you an extension.

VivisectedEngineer I am using my laptop with a basic webcam program it came with. I sent a test video to Facehuggers! and he/she approved!
IRaptus My original idea was to use the Facehugger from the A Box but it hasn't arrived. I was going to casually do my thing with it wrapped on my face (I might stop payment on the purchase). My back up plan is something like this (Ithese things are darker than I thought- I should have bought sheer):
kind of puts a new spin on Slash......with a predator mask on and all....

I have a resin Yautja mask + a Slash wig & top-hat I had from a classic rock tribute gig I did awhile back. That combo might make for an interesting look lol.
I am still planning on participating, but still waiting on my Covenant T-shirt which I want to wear in the picture!
I hope that taking a video with my laptop will work, I'm not that tech savvy.
I will be printing out a picture of a Facehugger and taping it to my face!
