Ati It does look like a selfie haha! The neo looks like it realizes it did something wrong- almost like a kid denying he took a cookie while crumbs are all over his face!
Indeed Ingeneiro another interesting clue, that has to get us asking is this a Easter Egg, or at least its NOT meant to connect to anything at all? Or is it connected.
I think they dont do their homework with little clues like this IF they ARE NOT meant to connect at all, why put them there? Because they can then lead Fans to Speculate about things that have no bearing at all on what has happened? OR... could they ACTUALLY be clues?
By Virtue of them being out there, they are up for debate... i have logically tried to come up with explanations, ones that would rule out any Proof of Prior or Future Visits to the same location.
But thats not to say that any logical alternative explanations i try and give are fitting.
The Topic i am on about is that Crew Cabin overlooking what indeed MATCHES the Location of where the Lander had not far landed in Alien Covenant, This was a interesting image when we saw it in the Trailers and TV spots, one had Red Record Player the other Blue, but its the same Room.
We have to wonder WHY was this here? Prior to the Movies Release i wondered if the Rescue Lander which i think is used to attach and take down to the Surface Modules from the Covenant to be assembled into the Outpost.. And i thought it must be at the end of the movie, one of these is dropped off during the rescue scene and someone is STRANDED back on the Surface.
I know a number of theories was that this was where Dr Shaw was held up, but how would they get that there as it appeared to be no part of the Prometheus Life-Boat, some theories was maybe a Previous Human Mission got to Planet 4 first... this was possible at the time and maybe could explain the Human Infant Skulls in Davids Workshop (i thought they was from Dr Shaw) but we find out they was from infant Engineers.
So ALAS the more we saw towards the movie release and after the release, this was NOT the case. (That Module/Room being on Planet 4).
With no clues of this being there at the time of the Covenant Mission, it left me to CONCLUDE only TWO explanations.
1) Its a Module that ends up on the Surface after the Events of Covenant, but WHY? Does David take down one Module and then takes down Daniels or/and Tennessee? so they are stranded?
2) Was this maybe a extended part of the Daniels Scene in her Room looking out of the same kind of Room/Window into Space when she recalled the Flash Back with her Husband Bronson? Did this have a longer scene where at the end we see them talk about the CABIN ON THE LAKE and she is then Day Dreaming looking out the Window and we see that Location which fades to changing to the view outside of her room on the Covenant?
I thought this seemed to fit more... but then why not use another location instead of one that Matches 100% with the Location of where they land on Planet 4? What so its a Coincidence, it just looks the same but its NOT meant to be?
I dont find it one bit FAIR if they put things like this that actually have no CONNECTION and its just there and knowing it could WIND up Fans and make us speculate connections that are not there.
But while they do stuff like this... i guess it will lead Fans to Speculate on things that could be NOTHING more than Red Herrings... but while its there, i guess its open to debate.
A Potential one of these was the Mural in Prometheus, as someone who worked in the Mural had came out and said it has NO CONNECTION it was just a Easter Egg nod to HR Giger... which is totally unfair because its Dangles a Carrot for Fans to try and make connections, and the whole Mural forms a Great Basis of my theories on LV-223, if its actually just a Easter Egg, then it means my Theories have some things that have no Basis.
I just think we can HOPE Future movies they NEVER leave any such clues or scenes that have no connection at all and send Fans down the Wrong Path and on Wild Goose Chases.
But while such clues remain... sure i think its nice to debate and listen to other theories on them ;)
Logan's lips caught in the act... :)

BigDave This is developing nicely- great idea! In addition to your idea of developing something akin to a mini hive, there could maybe be a communication system sort of like Odd World from the PS1- basic commands such as rally, hide, attack etc...
dk - I like that xeno-neo image very much, they look like a married couple. :/
Is the xeno taking a selfie? lol
'You have been on fire with these shorts, Ati!'
Yes, I'm burning, lol, indeed, this one is very good.
The floating body parts is a good idea, we should see that in a live action Alien movie!!!
dk - Just click on the 'sub button' in the bottom right hand corner - it's the first icon, looks like a TV-screen. Then the English sub will appear.
Certainly DK, that would be a interesting concept, ONE Life, that can become Multiple if you can Procreate Multiple Xenomorphs.
Other certain missions could work in a similar fashion, where your on a Outpost, preferably not a Space Station, and a incoming Platoon of Marines is incoming, you start as a Face Hugger, set off after someone wonders in to rescue a Face Hugged Member of the Crew, the Humans take the Person with them and you have to Stealthy get onto their ship...
Once you have done this you have to stealthy get around the outpost and find a suitable Host.
Upon Chest Bursting you have to survive and feed (so its like the AVP2 game from 2001) where when you are fully grown you have to then rescue the other Xenomorph from the other Face Hugger that is sealed in a Quarantined Area, finding out the Company has been made aware and are sending in a Ship with Marines to Extract ONE Xenomorph.
Your mission then is with the Help of this Other Xenomorph, is to capture and Procreate enough Xenomorphs for when the Marines arrive. MAYBE if you fail, we get a Cut-Scene where the Marines over power the limited Xenomorphs.... GAME OVER... maybe you can control a Xenomorph in this ONE SIDED battle?
But if you manage to Procreate a Certain number of Xenomorphs with out being detected, or the areas you Procreate them being eradicated... Then when the Team of Marines arrive you ENTER the next phase of the Game, where its a Xenomorph vs Marines Battle for Survival...
Where indeed the idea you posed DK can apply where if you Die, you can take control of any remaining Xenomorphs. I think this kind of a Mission would work well, as it would have to use EXTREME Stealth and brains... and patience (Face Hugger/Chest Buster), that then Evolves to being Cautious but now you can be a threat (Xenomorph) to then being able to control a a Horde of Xenomorphs.
dk - The monster with those eyes was enough for the cat. :D
The space helmet is awesome! 8D
This is the ultimate flute scene! 8)

Wow! Star Wars and Alien ost sound effects at the same time... He loves his sword very much. :D
'The "Elizabeth Shore" came up for a second in the Yutani Quiet Eye technology cross reference.'
I see, thx, Ingeniero.
...or Evil Below (1989) :)
The Rift is similar to Leviathan.
Thx everybody, Patrick is full of love, beyond doubt. 8)
My pleasure, Svanya, glad you like it, and thank you!
Cool Ati! Have to watch the Rift!
Just noticed tons of underwater sci-fi in 1989: Leviathan , The Abyss, Deep Star Six, Lords of the Deep, The Rift....
Thanks for the up votes!
Even if JC produced it..or got the ball rolling on production? It'd be worth the buzz...I'd think he'd have a tough time passing up an underwater Alien adventure though.
We do need a czar for the Alien series!
kevin feige - Marvel universe.
Kathleen Kennedy - Star Wars.
Alien - ??
Glad you find it interesting, thank you everybody.
MonsterZero - Your idea is similar to the story of the sci-fi horror The Rift (1990). It's time to make a remake. :)

MonsterZero - Interesting idea! I love underwater movies. Ingeniero mentioned The Abyss - that's a great movie. Hicks is one of the characters of the film. :)
Cameron is planning 4 Avatar sequels - if I'm not mistaken. So I think he won't direct an Alien movie before 2028.
XD (it is always a pleasure)Thanks Ingeniero
"Au Revoir Shoshanna"
That is interesting, thanks for posting this.
My first laugh came from him saying that it was the best since 1986. :D
I immediately thought: this will be fun
I think that he has some interesting point about Prometheus but I disagree that the Engineers are boring. Sure you can put you spin on it but that doesn't mean that it will be good.
"Some crew members being a bit underdeveloped" (about 4:50-4:55)
Those some could be extended to about 95% of them, the only crew member that was somewhat well written was Walter since Scott only cared about the robots but Oram was also good. The rest had no distinctive personality traits although they were far from as annoying as those in Prometheus.
Yes they made it about David and that was the huge disappointment. The review guy seems to like it but I do not. I disagree with him about the movie but if you like robot movies you might like this one.
Thank you Davefried81.

If this was Planet 4/Paradise shown to David upon waking, then the Covenant may land (below) in what appears to be the wheat field at Peter Weyland's feet (above), in front of the throne he sits in above.

Just watched this yesterday and linked it in the mods room, really liked his video. Thanks for posting, Ati!
Ha Ati. Patrick has skills.
"see 8 more", yes. And the barn, love it.
Rock on MonsterZero. Great concept, I'd love to see that.
Cameron proved he can provide an amazing underwater adventure with The Abyss just after Aliens. I have gone back and watched Aliens lately and I'm starting to warm up to it again.
Thank you Ati.
Ridley Scott mentioned HAL as an inspiration when discussing coming up with the "Mother" concept in an interview. The video above is put together very well.
I believe the evolved Daniels would not be as empathetic to Tennessee as she had been in the past.
Thank you V I N E T I C U M.
Great find, thanks for posting indeed!
Very cool!
Too bad this is a fake script. I am not so familiar with Lindelof writting style to see any difference tho. As you said, BigDave, there are some really cool ideas that make sense and that could be a good explanations for some mysteries. The only thing I found strange is this "Lord's Blood" that gives life. How a deacon blood can give life ? That is strange, when we know that xenomorph blood is composed of acid and its purpose is to take life away (self defense). Could be ironic too, that engineers wanted to reproduce their lord's blood, and the only thing they achieved is to make black goo, which destroys life.
You can find the script here : http://docplayer.net/54299743-Prometheus-by-damon-lindelof.html
Excellent video! Thanks for posting it.
I agree with this video. Good stuff.
Thanks for posting this.
I immediately thought of short pants, LOL seriously. :D
Maybe there is could be a section of the scified page where people could post their fan made movies? Not only in threads at a forum. For example when you get to scified there is a list with different forums that you can go to (Star Wars, Jurassic world and so on) you click a button and you get there. Why not put up a button that takes you to a page with a list of people that have done their own short movies and then you go from there.
One example is that it could be structured like this page:
https://www.w3schools.com/
Perhaps that looks a bit too old but you get the idea. In that way you will always see the list so you do not need to use the go back button, to me at lest that is a very practical to have it that way.
It is interesting about Lindeloff after having watched Alien Covenant. I now have less blame on Lindelof for Prometheus's shortcomings. Sure he is not without responsibility for it but I think that Scott and Fox messed it up. Two underwhelming alien movies in a row and Scott and Fox are behind both of them, I think that it could be a part of the explanation at least.
Maybe the second movie (that became AC) could have had more of the Engineers, more Xeno clues without having Xenos and other things. It was disappointing that they just bombed the Engineers out of the picture, that suggests to me that Scott and those did not understand the criticism of Prometheus.
Nah, I will probably not watch AC again, it is just not good. This is unfortunate since there could have been some good parts there like the Engineers but they just erased it to focus on David, sigh. Even if they would have had lame human characters and much about David then at least it would have been less bad since the Engineers in themselves are interesting enough.
Yesterday I listened to some podcast and they said exactly like you do about a game plan. There is none as far as I know. Why can't they just sit down and at least get a skeletal version of what they want to achieve like:
"OK we will tell a story about this and that, the main things that we want to show is XYZ and to do that we could do bla bla bla"
I doubt that Scott has it at least, he changes ideas as often as people change underwear. For example first it was about the Engineers and then all of a sudden it was about David and now he is into the Engineers again, I wonder when he will change his mind again? This is a reason why he should not be involved with the script. People are good at different things, he should stick to building ideas for sets and that but not as far as the characters are concerned or the script in general.
Sure, they company side could be told a little but the focus should be on other things but I would rather have that if it brings interesting human characters than a story about David.
David is smart and is probably programmed for things like that so I guess that he could roughly speaking have some idea about how the travel would take. Who knows what kind of things that robots could do in the future so it is an interesting thought at least.
The goo that gets into the water sounds like it could be something of a biological (a form of life) warfare, interesting.
For some reason this reminds me of the end of AC. Do you think that David has some goo left that he can use as a threat towards the colonists like of they don't do as he wishes he will use it to what ever. Maybe he could use that to hold people hostile and then one of his creatures turn on him and kills him.
What if humans use the goo and try to attack David with it? We have not seen it this far and it is probably far-fetched but anyways. Humans can find a lot of things that they don't know about and use without any idea of what it can do. Look at how if affected people in Prometheus. One problem is that it seems to affect things in a random way which could be a result that they did not had an idea of how it would work. The idea is good but I am not sure about if it holds up if you examine it in a logical way.
Maybe the classical Xeno has been shown a lot of times (been cooked as Scott says) but there are other kinds of morphs (Deacon, Neomorph, and so on) that you can use. I hope that they will have something interesting if we get another movie and not just David as a threat because that is not very interesting or if they have David they got to combine that with something else since he alone won't be enough by far.
He was probably written to be a POS. I did not feel anything when he died. Removing his helmet was effing stupid because you do not know if there is something unknown in the air that is dangerous. Being a professional he should have known better. That character sucks and by the way they should have figured out a way for him to die that would not have been that stupid even though it fits his crappy personality.
As a related thing, wasn't the Mohawk guy (Fifield) a bit of the same?
"Is that your thesis mister biology?"
"So we are here because of something that you kids found in a cave?"
I bet that these are not the exact quotes but you probably know what I mean if you have seen the movie. They have both to a point a personality that is a bit of "I know better than you". Do you agree with this? Nowhere in the movie do they show any kind of humility as far as I know but I haven't watched Prometheus for some months or so. It does not show a kind of person that is very humble to say the least if you ask me.
As a related thing did they not have a clip when he trains before the mission or something? In that clip he says something like "I am here to prove religion wrong", it sort of points to a personality that has a very big self-confidence like "I am right and you are wrong, ha ha".
They should have written him to be more of a sympathetic character. I believe that everyone have more or less of various character traits so some are very selfish, some less so, for example. Unfortunately he was too much of an arrogant asshole to get sympathy from me.
"It’s not entirely clear why Holloway was written as such a reckless, petulant character…"
I would like to know about that also, was it to have a character that the audience could focus their anger at so they could feel a bit better afterwards. I doubt that was the reason but I would like to know. Lindelof or Spaights are probably the persons to ask about that.
What a couple! A dick and a scientist that is naive as crap. They suck
Only David and Janek were well done in Prometheus the rest were either unlikable or forgettable.
Gee W: It could have been A Lot better, I am disappointed that they went with what they did.
I am already worried about that, sorry. Don't make it another effing David movie. Keep him far away from the story writing or else we will see another disappointment.
Ali81: I like the script by Spaights also it makes me react less like "Why did he do that? That was dumb". They should have included more of that in the final movie, unfortunately they didn't so we have the movie the way it is now. Lindelof’s script was at least better than what became the final movie but I have not read it for a while.
