Deckard Used Grow Pods

Shown in The Art and Soul of Blade Runner 2049, Deckard was using grow pods very similar to the Weyland Industries Bio-Replicator pods.
And his fashion choice below tends toward a trend with independent artificial persons later this century and into the next one.

MemberPraetorianJan-21-2018 3:04 PMGreat info, Ingeniero, thank you for sharing this!
We know that Scott would like to produce a sequel to Blade Runner 2049.
Some dialogues at the end of the movie suggest that this sequel wouldn't take place on Earth.
I have the feeling that this space movie would link the Blade Runner trilogy to the Alien Universe.
When I watched the BR 2049 scene you highlighted, I thought these pods are similar to the ones on Covenant seen in the deleted Walter scene:

Certainly a little Easter Egg connection for sure, i am not sure we will ever see both Franchises being connected as Canon, but the Easter Eggs are still great

MemberPraetorianJan-22-2018 6:28 PMThank you so much Ati. That was really considerate of you to do.
Yeah, the respirator above is bodacious too. So, an additional thank you for that image.
I had to enhance the two images below. Epic.
Epic scene.
I hope you don't have to wait until May to watch it BigDave.
I couldn't find an interested party to go with me either and did not see it until my Blue-Ray, 4K version came in the mail this month. I do not have a 4K TV but the Blue-Ray was amazing. I had ordered the art book a while back and could not wait to see the film.
I expect the Blue-Ray sales of this film to support making a sequel and it is nice to hear Ridley Scott speak of one. Once you get the film, enjoy BigDave. It is a great film.

It is nice to share and especially when the emotions are positive. We can have a good time sharing negative emotions regarding the films in a positive discussion between ourselves. That is why we're here...to share and debate a topic/universe outside of our own. Thank you again for commenting.

MemberFacehuggerJan-23-2018 7:12 AMBlade Runner 2049 was a masterpiece. Could you imagine if that director directed an Alien film!?

AdminPraetorianJan-23-2018 6:30 PM@Ingeniero Moving this to the Blade Runner forums.
*Edit* Eh, actually i'll leave it, it's 50/50 BR and Alien.
Side note, I run the Blade Runner forums here, the FB and the Twitter. It used to look very different but Chris merged it with the rest of the sites and there is almost no activity there anymore. I'll ask Chris to put it back like it was if possible, since you guys seem to want to post about Blade Runner but always put the posts on the Alien forums.
This is what the site used to look like, I chose the colors and Images.
