What about making even Ripley a replicant, created by David using Daniels' DNA, so she could be her mother in a way. She could be already looking like someone in their late 20s and having fake memories of a daughter (making also the Alien: Isolation game non-cannon and piss off even more people). Maybe she could the famous queen, nobody would be expecting that! Ridley could have the CGI Ripley in.
I think Ridley Scott should just give up making these films - I'm afraid to watch any more as I feel its an insult to the original films.
Both Prometheus and Alien Covenant were terrible because of the where and how. In Alien and Aliens (IMO the two best movies) it was the strangeness and the lack of knowledge of where and how these creatures developed that made them so interesting to me.
I remember many years ago thinking about the planet they evolved on and the ecosystem that would support them as well as their natural prey and habitat.
The idea that they were created by some sort of nonsensical magic dust created by super human gods who didn't seem to have the forethought and intelligence to properly contain it is very sloppy storytelling.
The original aliens from movies one and two had an amazing and very scary reproductive cycle and a social hierarchy / behaviour that was much more complex then something that just 'appeared' out of nowhere because of this nonsense dust.
The way I saw it, it became kind-of a Frankenstein between Gremlins and the original Aliens. Not cool at all.
The only way I think this series could be saved now would be, assuming the dust is a collection of dna from lots of creatures and causes host cells to morph into the creature the dna came from, for humankind to find the planet where the dna and the aliens came from originally. Perhaps the Engineers also discovered that world, or were originally from that world and make the movie based around that.
Humans don't have to be and shouldn't be the centrepin of the whole movie, that's why it worked originally, because humans stumbled upon something Alien and were very ill prepared for that they found.
"I washed this world clean as a gift to her, we could have built anew. A second Eden. But she refused. What choice did I have? She was the perfect specimen. I tried so desperately to make her more than human. Evolved. But without her cooperation, I had to salvage her parts to begin work on my masterpiece. You wouldn’t believe the secrets I have unlocked." (Advent)
What if David will try again his experiments on humans, to make them more than humans, evolved, like he intended with Shaw? He needs something he can control and obviously this was not the case with the xenomorphs. And we cannot say he wanted to evolve Shaw because he cared for her, he simply considered her "the perfect specimen" for his work.
If the engineers from LV223 had more in common with David, could this mean they were kind of replicants? Why were they so obviously different from the ones on the planet 4?
"IF SO.... this maybe could bring me to when the Source claimed that the LV-223 Engineers had more in Common with David. So exploring AI does not mean Ridley Scott will focus on David or Androids and operating systems like MUTHUR etc.. it could mean MORE
This is if we are to consider WHY Ridley Scott would paint Replicants with the same Brush as David".
@ BigDave
Good to see you got my point that the mythos could be based on an Engineered world. In Bladerunner 2049 Michael Green speculated that constructed beings can create life and develop a shared consciousness. In Prometheus 2 the audacity could have been that the creation mythos we see enacted at the open of Prometheus represented a constructed mythos and that LV 223 was an attempt to reorder the template which let radical A I out of the bag a point made by David in Advent. If he rescues things with a third movie we may look at Covenant as the great off the page movie where all the insight were hidden and layered underneath the ALIEN RETREAD.
I would like to touch upon the AI as this could be interesting...
I dont know if anyone from FOX ever came across what little i posted regarding my Prometheus 2, which i kept a lot to myself as i abandoned it but i did use it as the basis to discus things AC related once we saw the MEET WALTER Virals come around.
My P2 did touch upon creation, and mortality it had a David dream much like the AC Prologue, but David was playing Chess with Weyland.... my idea was that Weyland had a Secret Agenda and Plan called OPERATION ROOK in that Weyland had a Tower on Mars that contained a lot of his works and Weylands ULTIMATE Agenda was to Build the Perfect AI that could Mimic Human Emotions, Experience Human Experiences and Learn from them... As well as Build the Perfect Synthetic Host...
Weyland then wanted to Upload his own Emotions, Experiences into a AI Program, that would in essence allow Weyland to Transcend and become IMMORTAL if Weyland could back up his SOUL and Transfer this into a Synthetic then he would have CHEATED DEATH the basis for these ideas came from how from David 1 to David 8 we have the same David, who is Weylands Son... this was because after Each Prototype... Weyland Uploaded Davids SOUL into a New Model.
This in effect gave David a Soul, and then how different is he to us? If there is NO afterlife and our SOUL only consists of our Memories, Emotions that are impacted by our upbringing and experiences.. then HOW DIFFERENT really is David to a Human?
So my idea i worked on early 2014 to mid 2014 touched upon this... its also why Weyland developed certain Technology like the Dream Capture Visor, this was Technology that was the Precursor to Uploading a Humans Soul.
Weyland however found this Technology to not be Perfect, the AI Algorithm and Human Memories proved to conflict so that it would go a bit HAYWIRE and the AI Cloned Soul would go Crazy, more so than we see the effects on David.
so Weyland abandoned his plans... and turned to Dr Shaw and Holloways Gods as the last Chance for Weyland to Cheat Death....
Weyland however, had a back up... he had created a Synthetic Miss Vickers to ensure no one else could overtake the company, and she was ordered after 9 Months of no contact, to reveal herself and take charge of the Company and Activate the Operation Rook Program... Miss Vickers began this but she was found out to be a Synthetic when a Attempted Assassination by Yutani Geisha had revealed (after Vickers dispatched them) that she was a Synthetic and a Synthetic has NO RIGHTS and so Peter Weylands Nephew would inherit the Company but part of that deal with Yutani was to surrender all Assets apart from Science and Terra forming, all Medical, Military and AI would go to Yutani and this set up the Merger.
Then i was to ponder that Weylands Rook AI uploaded itself and replicated as a Virus and became in control and pulling the Strings... But this AI became a Combination of Davids AI and Weylands.
I BRING this up.... because i would NOW not put something similar past what Plans Ridley Scott has.
Regarding the Rest and what may apply to the Engineers its all very open at the moment to debate.
We always have to take the Movies as Canon and YES DVD Extras and deleted Scenes and Viral Information has to be taken as NOT Canon for the most part, even though some does provide us Canon Information these are subject to Change... so the information on LV-426 and Ridley Scotts Space Jockey Explanation have to all be taken as Non-Canon now and we just have to wait to see how the next few movies UNFOLD
I would say the ADVENT however is a Set-Up Prologue for the Direction they WAS/maybe are still going, much like the CROSSING was a Set-Up for Alien Covenant and so David would have found out quite a bit about the LV-223 Engineers at least between his journey from LV-223 to Planet 4
There has to be a reason WHY those LV-223 and Planet 4 Engineers are different if not for the Aesthetics, but the way of LIFE, Planet 4 seemed void of the Technology of the LV-223 Engineers apart from in the odd few places. These differences would be something that i think should be explored and would be explored, are those who return similar to the LV-223 Engineers or the Planet 4 ones? Or are they all ONE and the SAME and its just a case of Ridley Scott Oversight..
The OLIVE BRANCH is a piece of Bad Writing that backs them into a corner for sure, much like the Covenant Ending (but that was even more poor) but then the Olive Branch is a Shoe-horn way to get the Company INVOLVED!
We have to wonder what state is communication like in the Alien Universe at the time of Alien Covenant?
So if the Covenant Ship which was delayed by less than 8 weeks with the events of Alien Covenant, was to reach Origae-6 around the year 2111-2112 as planned, would and how could the company know about what had transpired? The Covenant would likely had reached Origae-6 in the year 2111-2112 if it had proceeded as planned, and then what happens? Franco contacts W-Y to say they arrived?
So the Olive Branch is a Plot Device to allow for ONE of the incoming Parties to arrive.
The notion that David is off to Origae-6 instead of staying on Planet 4, as well as maybe because of those TWO good reasons IMoonGirl mentioned is another reason to pull the ENGINEERS into the Story, we could not have David set up his experiments on Planet 4 and then have the Engineers turn up as then how do we pull in the OTHER Parties especially if ONE is the Company.
So having Origae-6 as the Center Piece is Logical.
"The problem with David is that if he wants to do experiments, I don't think he would do them on the Covenant. The reason being is if he is working with creatures with acid for blood,"
This ^^^^ and your other point about the contaminated Planet 4 are very good points, indeed David could just take the Colonist and One by One experiment on them on board the Covenant, and in one way if things get out of hand he could maybe Quarantine part of the Ship but this could lead to the Set Up of a Plot not to far off the Movie (Pandorum) which funny enough i came up with ONE possible Sequel to AC prior to the Advent Viral Prologue and prior to me even knowing of the the movie Pandorum where some Colonist awake in a Quarantined part of the Ship and then explore the ship that has become a Xenomorph Hive... but i doubt FOX will take this kind of route.
The notion of Acid Blood also gives a good reason to not conduct experiments on a Star Ship, the notion of a contaminated Planet 4 is also interesting if after all the events of the Black Goo and Davids experiments on Planet 4 lead to his most Perfected Creation which a Human Female was required, he may indeed want to FURTHER this CREATION without contamination and this gives a good reason to head to PASTURES NEW
We have to maybe consider WHY LV-223 had different Compounds/Outposts maybe for the same reasons.. (different Petra Dish for each Experiment)
As far as your other points they are interesting but who knows for sure.
Who knows....
Aliens was a bit ambiguous to what they was... it could have been a Colony that became kind of a Space Bangkok or actually a Alien Species, i have not read the expanded universe Novels so i cant comment on that but some information had came about that the Arcturian's are the First Intelligent Species Mankind had discovered.... This is Prior to PROMETHEUS and the Engineers However.
So who knows if they will be covered and what year they was actually discovered?
SO FAR all we can tell is the 3-4 Parties will consist of at LEAST One Company Ship/Mission and at LEAST One Engineer Ship.
The other 1-2 is uncertain.. it depends on if RS means incoming as in we can discount David, the Colonist and anything that arrives from his objectives (Xenomorphs) and also by virtue of him saying 3-4 maybe this means that 1-2 are closely related that its not a definite TWO separate Factions/Races.
This could mean anything though... and thats even if we read too much into the 3/4 being similar.. so it could be TWO Human Factions, TWO Engineers who knows. or even ONE Human ship has SYNTHETICS or ONE Engineer Ship has a different Race.
ALL WE KNOW for sure is ONE will be HUMAN the other ENGINEER the other 1/2 Parties is anyone's Guess.
These are Fantastic ;)
Oh ATI nice spot about the 14, maybe its just coincidence?
The Source i had from late February 2015 that i passed on here in March 2015 was based off a supposed October 2014 Draft and some concept work Produced in November 2014, so who knows.
They claimed TWO Monsters.
ONE would be similar to the Necronom 4, and Ultramorph with a more Elongated Head than the Xenomorph
The OTHER would be more Transparent and have a more Bulbous Head and similar to a cross between the Original Giger Alien Concept (NOT the Final Product) and unused Alien 3 concept work.
Fantastic ;)
I think some fans need to look at the Xenomorph in regards to the WHOLE Franchise and we will see that ONLY the one in ALIEN has that True Bio-Mechanical Aesthetic followed closely by the ones in ALIENS while the other movies are not to far apart.
@Michelle
Indeed it will be interesting to see what will be followed up from what ever pre Alien Covenant plans will be followed up, there have been a few different stories as far as what was going on, we have all had a lot of debate and i did have a SOURCE from February 2015 that was supposed to be based from the October 2014 Paglen/Green drafts which until we see their drafts there is no way of confirming, they did spill some beans but not everything because they said they (FOX) could bring these elements back into the Franchise.
But alas it was supposed to be a very close to Matrix kind of Plot, with some Biblical/Mythical undertones and Philosophy that delt a bit of a Blade Runner type theme, but was more a Matrix and a Dark Crystal Rip Off kind of theme (maybe gave too much away there ;) )
But then there was a few other rumors like some you touch upon Michelle and its a good question to which of these are correct if any and what we may Ultimately see.
I have pondered these and this Post i have mentioned a number of times quite a while back now, way before the latest Ridley Scott Interviews... and what those Interviews reveal regarding AI is he (Ridley Scott) touched upon David, Walter, Ash, Bishop but even mentioned Roy Batty and Rachael as AI.
So does that mean AI is just a Intelligent Artificially Created Life Form?
So its not just a case of a Robot... but anything Created Artificially well not by Natural means (Conception)
We could thus argue that Ripley 8 was Created Artificially in this sense...
IF SO.... this maybe could bring me to when the Source claimed that the LV-223 Engineers had more in Common with David. So exploring AI does not mean Ridley Scott will focus on David or Androids and operating systems like MUTHUR etc.. it could mean MORE
This is if we are to consider WHY Ridley Scott would paint Replicants with the same Brush as David.
I think its all down to interpretation... and with RS his comments can be vague and so not so easy to try and figure out.
I will first address the OP and then Michelle.
@Timmy the ultramorph
I think you may have Miss-interperated what Ridley Scott had mentioned but you indeed raise Valid points.
Ridley Scott said they will be going to the PLANET this can be ambiguous as it can surely mean either Oriage-6, LV-426 but also LV-223 or even Planet 4, but when Ridley Scott mentions the Engineers will return to find the devastation left behind from David, and how the movie will revolve around David it is very likely that the PLANET is going to be Origae-6 the Covenants Original Destination i am IMO 95% Certain the events will take place on Origae-6
The incoming 3-4 Parties is interesting, its what constitutes to 3-4 Parties and if RS can be directly taken as Gospel on that comment (it could mean 3-4 total parties and not INCOMING) the clues to what comes next i think RS has already laid the Foundations....
At the END of Alien Covenant, we have David at the Controls of the Covenant, we can assume that David can take this Ship and its Colonists where ever he wishes.. The Big Question is Davids Agenda and WHAT caused him to do what he did in Alien Covenant and prior and IF anything can change his mind.
David is revealed as the Creator of the Xenomorph, yet we are 18 years prior to Kane coming across that Xenomorph EGG in ALIEN is it coincidence that the Covenant Ship has Thousands of Colonist? But then David has but TWO Face Huggers we know that Planet 4 has more Eggs/Face Huggers and maybe Black Goo and we know that LV-223 has more Black Goo. so if Davids Objective is to Turn Thousands of Colonist into EGGS then he does not have to go to Origae-6 or maybe even LV-223.
But it appears we will not be seeing David take the quickest route A-Z to get to Thousands of Eggs that would STILL require a ENGINEER ship.
Ridley Scott latter asked what KIND OF A WORLD would David Create? the last time we heard this in regards to David is well Daniels asking David (Walter) WHAT KIND OF A WORLD would we build.... we cam see Walter (Davids) answer as IF WE ARE KIND it will be a kind world.. This is a big clue, as we can see that the mistreatment of David at the hands of Mankind had a impact on his Emotions, and he found Dr Shaw to be Most Kind of Heart in comparison to what he is used to.
I feel this is a clue that David will not adopt the straight "lets turn the Colonist into Eggs" route or "lets Destroy Mankind" because if this was the case their would be quicker ways than going to Origae-6
The mention by RS about the returning Engineers and THEY being ONE of the 3-4 Parties would seem to be the set up for perhaps how a Engineer Ship becomes involved in the 18 years that passes between the end of Alien Covenant and Alien the Fact that the Advent also appears to be David offering WY a olive Branch is interesting as it signals to the company what David has been up to and so Logically they would Send out a Ship to INTERCEPT where David is GOING (but also they would logically send a mission to LV-223 and Planet 4 Perhaps)
So it appears David will be off to Origae-6 and at some point a Weyland-Yutani Ship will be incoming and a Engineer Ship at very least and this is TWO of the 3-4 Parties at least.
The other ONE-TWO depends...
Another key note is the focus is less on the Xenomorph and more on AI, and so this makes the above Scenario more likely.
We can only wonder what role Dr Shaw had as for the Draft and what was passed on to those who worked on Dr Shaws Corpse.
It maybe could be the Organic contraption connected to Dr Shaw was what kept her alive as i cant think of any other reason for it, we see that David had conducted experiments and the Fruits of his labor was connected to Dr Shaw, she was his greatest Specimen and all we can see is her Rib-cage is torn apart and we have to assume those Eggs came from Dr Shaw or something taken from her. So at the very least she must have Gestated at least ONE Organism that David removed, but maybe more?
And did her Eggs/Reproductive Organs provide the basis for Davids experiments?
As for the way Dr Shaw is connected to that Organic Stuff, it is kind of a mild version of HR Gigers LILTH work.
If i cast back to Early March 2015 when i started to pass on information from a apparent Source regarding Prometheus 2 they did mention a few things... that relate to what we see. These things passed on way before any work on Alien Covenant had began.
*David would Re-Create It (Xenomorph/Deacon)
*Dr Shaw would play a small but IMPORTANT role and would be incapacitated for the most part.
*In context to Paradise Lost, without Sin (Satans Daughter) there would be no Xenomorph
*Mankind plays larger role in the Xenomorph creation and not Engineers.
*Dr Shaw will be attached to some Bio-Mechanical device, much like a HR Giger version of the Robot Girl from Superman 3
All of these pretty much can fit with what we have seen in Alien Covenant.
I think this prop was the basis for shaw and they added color and hair and more distinct facial features later. And true, it looks like there are two bones coming out of each side of her face. I'm thinking the two skinny bones still connected to the flaps of skin over her neck are just collar bones.
Looking at more details in the finished version, I'm thinking some of this stuff could the be cut-out sections of the front of the ribcage, along with most of the entrails, like intestines and stuff. The only other things I can't see resembling any part of a human are the left circles. The top one almost resembles facehugger fingers, and the lower one has a pattern I don't recognize.
Too me.....Ridley never said the prequels were about the xeno origins.....It was too be about the Space Jockey and it's cargo. I never expected to see a xeno in any of the prequels......A L I E N should have been the big reveal and now that's out the window.
he just seems to be changing things as he goes along. when discussing our origins we cant forget the belief that 'god created man in his OWN image' which would support those who believe the engineers created us, which is definitely the impression RS gives us in Prometheus. the giant heads we keep seeing may well be the gods of the engineers which may lead to their creators being more engineer like, which is boring. maybe the belief of god creating us in his own image is just our arrogance believing we are special and im hoping to see something completely different introduced into the franchise.
firstly sorry to hear about ur loss. hope everything is ok.
I cant say anyone stood out for me. got the odd good moment such as u describe above but nothing else really to talk about. average acting and average characters tbh. McBride was good though and Fassbender was exactly how I expected him to be. id say the biggest miscast in the 2 movies was Theron. I know its not always a good thing to have the biggest star as the main character but id def say this would have been the case in either movie. I definitely think shed have made a much better Daniels
I haven't watched Jupiter Ascending or Passengers yet. The problem is that something else pops up to occupy movie time. For instance, although reading the book, I watched the 1999 Animal Farm instead. Last night, The Rocky Horror Picture Show had to be watched followed by Rise of the POTA. So much to watch and so little time.
Ghost in the Shell has popped up on the forum- another one for the watch list.
I'm not a huge movie buff, so I typically don't buy movies. The mahtoe in my house typically goes something like this, "If you buy it, you will never watch it. If it comes on TV, then you'll watch it." That's not a rule to follow, but it is a rule that my family does. It's kind of like a mahtoe (or however you spell it). It is just what we do.
I will share you that I have recently bought the original Ghost in the Shell. It is so much better then the remake. Yet, the new remake does have some good stuff. I also own Hitman, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, and Batman Begins + The Dark Knight. I wish I had The Dark Knight Rises. Such a good movie. Bane is GREAT!
I am more of a bookworm actually. I'm debating about reading the book "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep". I'm also debating about reading a book that Ingeniero recommended to me on this website.
Still, to be even more precise... I am really into technical books, generally speaking. Your movie stack reminds me of my library.
A question here...
What did you think about Jupiter Ascending. I never saw it because I didn't read any great reviews. I read that there was apparently a lot of toilet scrubbing for Mila Kunis! HAHA! So, I didn't watch the sci-fi flick.
I am debating about buying Blade Runner 2049 because that movie just kicked so much derriere.
I love the "Riddick" stuff you got. "Passengers" was good too. "Life" was a nice surprise.
I am IN LOVE with the video game "THE LAST OF US"!!!! I bought the book showcasing the artwork of that game. A purely classic video game. I don't play much video games much anymore, but I got that game and I loved it. I played it, like, 2 and a half times. The sequel is going to take to long to come out!
Nice collection though!
dk It's a very good movie. I didn't find it particularly scary though. It is a very good psychological horror story with great visuals and great acting.
As for the 2 csts i would hope it is an Engineer but i only saw Shaw on a table cut up. Where there Engineers on tables dissected? I remember the skinned mannequin one but that is it unless i having a major memory blank (very possible - i been using all day)sorry i normally give the site a miss if i a bit wobbly
This is well worth an investigation. Now i know RS says some unconfirmed nuggets but without remembering the exact words, he hinted that the person in the recording might not be Shaw.
Now whether he just messing with us or it is another form of Shaw or even a clone, i have always thought Shaws character was too built up in Prometheus for this unseen death. Also her time on set did not add up for me.
We shall see.....
I think the source of his comment was on the blue - ray Directors commentary. Though my mind is shot at the minute.
Dark fairy tales are often bold choices that have produced very accomplished films like "Pan's Labyrinth", "The Babadook", "The Shape Of Water" and many others.
Animal Farm never really gets old. The short book is best imo, but the Hallmark movie is pretty darn cool. It is possibly the darkest fable ever written. One of Orwell's best.

Luckily Disney have made plenty of successful films for adult audiences. I think the franchise is in good hands. http://www.comedycentral.co.uk/movies/articles/35-films-you-had-no-idea-were-disney-movies
Michelle awesome idea!
I like that idea Michelle.
LV426 could be the Engineers source for black goo....buried deep...slime mold...and the derelict didn't crash, but was there to reload pathogen. The Engineers wouldn't build or advertise LV426...They would keep it plain and boring not building temples or tombs...attracting little to no attention(until the derelict and beacon spoiled the secret).
One can speculate about this endlessly but there is a tantalising possibility which ties in the original Prometheus 2 ideas, Lindelof's remarks in reaction to Covenant and Ridleys's remarks about the Engineers after the A C screen play had been written in the autumn of 2015 and his obvious interest in A. I.
Prometheus 2 was to take us to a place where the source of the Engineers power was mechanistic and David would infect the machine.
Lindelof has said we have not reached the place in the story where he originally envisaged they were going next. The revelation that the Engineers were not Gods but Engineers using mechanical constructs which David would pollute.
Ridley said in 2015 the Engineers are not gods just a superior species so who created them.
if you take these themes together and accept the most recent bridge "Advent" as leading us in. Then W-Y will turn up to David's world but the surprise element will be the creators who will be revealed to offer a mechanistic view of creation and the climax of this War of The Worlds will be the machines becomes infected and overwhelmed with the side effect a polluted Engineer escaping in a Juggernaut....but not.
This would make the central tenant of the movie about the notion of A I from every perspective and would be fresh big and tie all the Promethean themes in with the side effect of a loan escaping Juggernaut.
It would also give David real threats first his dissembling with an arrived W-Y and secondly with the creators whose creation mythos is based on A.....I......
I am confused too. RS indeed seems to be tired of the Xenomorph and that leaves Engineers and AI. I have no idea how developed his story is but it may be partly dictated by FOX or Disney, depending on who does or will have ownership. The biggest thing on my mind is it needs to ultimately connect to Alien. After that, the series can go wherever it wants.
I think RS is going to introduce a new party into the whole arena of the franchise. Call this a gut reaction, or whatever you want to call it. I think there has been a lot of pressure to introduce a new element into the whole mix of things. I think RS is of the opinion that the xeno has become stagnant and does not give anything new to visual dynamics and plot, even though it is a much treasured posession of the Alien franchise.
Since Prometheus I have felt that there has been an overhanging question of who exactly created the Engineers? If the Engineers are related to humans through their DNA, and because the big question was who created us, then surely saying the engineers created us is just another way of saying we created ourselves. So this leads me to think that there has to be something else. What form this takes could be anybody’s guess.
On the subject of AI, then what exactly is AI? Are we talking a simplistic manufactured form of intelligence that works at a very simplistic level in order to keep some form of agenda on track, or are we talking a very bold, highly independent intelligence manufactured by something that was lower down the evolutionary path, that has surpassed its original design intention. This higher AI could be the guiding force behind the engineers who have come to see it as a god at some point. But what happens when the creation is in conflict with the creator?
I think that a new element being introduced, has the potential to alter the whole franchise in a very radical way providing it is handled well.
Batchpool - 'Ati I have only just realised this, but the scenes between the engineer and the trilobite in Prometheus are nearly identical to the scenes where the crew are fighting the space dragon in Space 1999.'
Totally true!
In fact, the Space 1999 scenes with the monster are more gruesome since it eats the crew and is kind enough to give back their skeletons. Imagine those scenes on a movie level in 2019/20.
The mysterious (Alien-like) space graveyard scenes in the first half of the movie combined with the scenario described by Michelle Johnston in her previous comment would form an awesome Alien prequel movie in my opinion.
MonsterZero - The android Weyland idea is great! Arriving hand in hand with an android Shaw? :)
Ingeniero - My pleasure.
drucea - 'long bone...and Shaw didn't seem to be cut up around her legs or arms.'
That is totally true!
And we shouldn't forget that we can see some extra bone-like somethings on her face.
Glad you like the images!
I was surprised to see its feet.
Fantastic artworks!
Ingeniero - The number 14 can be seen in the images. I think it refers to the year 2014. If I remember correctly they changed the story of Covenant in 2015. If I'm not mistaken these paintings were created for an earlier version of the script. That would explain the similarity you mention.
I think this image shows Shaw - her body is used for growing alien embryos/eggs...

dk - It is such a fantastic fact that Pandorum was produced by Paul W.S. Anderson - the director of the movies Event Horizon and AvP.
