Yeah, I spent way too much money on a dedicated HT room, but it's better than most any of my local theaters, so it almost seems worth it, on occasion. I'll go see this movie theatrically for the midnight showing, just for the audience experience which [i]is[/i] lacking in any home setting......but it's the blu-ray I can't wait to get my mitts on.

Considering most full trailers are about 2 minutes long, how much of the 1 minute from the teaser will we see in the full length trailer? And is it true Prometheus is going to be over 3 hours long? Thats the latest rumour I seem to hear bouncing about recently.

Come on, just by a 1 minute trailer, you get so many comments, theories, guessing, and chatter just on this website alone. To me its smart marketing, and it drives all of us crazy for the movie.

question, the beast from the first alien was blown out the airlock. but not killed. the queen from aliens, same situation. now you have a semi accurate positon of the sulaco. why didnt the company pick up either especially the queen.

In my opinion, deadcell, I think it would be to hard to find 2 aliens in space with no tracking divice. Even as big as a queen is, its tiny in the infinit of space. Just my opinion.

If you wanted to, I wouldnt, but you could look in the artic ocean for the queen there too. But thats a different subject.

true,very true. but the sulaco was still in orbit, and truely how fast was the queen going when she was jetisened, if the company really wanted her, somebody would have done some scouting in the area.

Im pretty sure after Ridley Scott has said recently there will definately be two films. I think Prometheus will actually be the prequel to the Alien prequel. Prometheus focusing on the Spacejockeys/Engineers, and the next one focusing on the new Xeno or whatever new creature is revealed in Prometheus.

i dont want him to say anything about another prequal untill we see how this one fairs, too many movies equal money grubbing

@deadcell, Ridley Scott pretty much defined the sci-fi genre with Alien & Bladerunner and has been wanting go back ot explore posibilities in the Alien universe for years. The man has so much passion for this I doubt he's just doing it for the money. If you want to blame anyone for beeing greedy money grabbing sods, then point the finger at Fox, they are the ones who wanted the "family friendly" pg13 version.

dude im not hacking ridley, trust me, not to be misunderstood, its fox im worried about with the prequels. i have all the faith we will get the old riley, its just after avp, avpr and every other series fox has milked to all end i am still a little worried that fox will screw with ridley

Lets all hope that FOX does not interfear with Ridley. We all dont want them to screw it up. Plus, I dont think that Ridley would do the movie if he couldnt do it the way he wants.

I think we had this discussion before, really early in the beginning of this journey when I listened to less trance music, but oh I stand corrected, it was just Sci-fi movies, well you can't ever get enough trance or enough 80's Sci-fi like: Light years of Gandahar Isaac Asimov 1988 (Remake would be nice) Spacehunter> Adventures in the Forbidden Zone 1983 The Swamp Thing 1982 Starchaser> Legend of Orin 1985 Battle Beyond the Stars 1980 (love to see a remake of this one) Galaxy of Terror 1981 (Which I was tripping it was Prometheus done 80's style) Oh and of course Akira 1988, Neo Tokyo similar to Bladerunner 2019
