Hicks is correct. The actor in question appears in Aliens as Hicks with his back towards camera. they had to leave the shot in as they were a week into shooting when the actor got fired

It was a NYTimes interview with her, after ppl could ask questions, but i have too much stage fright i didnt dare lol. Shes a badass goddess

This could only get better if the soundtrack was made by Nine Inch Nails i have to say. I wish Ridley Scott would realize that he should drop Hans Zimmer for Trent Reznor.

I am from Montreal and Nine Inch Nails has a big following here, Fantastically creative Band, but IMO that Background Score was too good, even for Them...!!! P.S. I also Absolutely Loved Hans Zimmer's score for "Black Rain", which was, incidently, directed by none other than Ridley Scott!

Sorry Bella, although an interesting thought - I really do hope not! It sounds faaaaar too 'Stargate' to me! I really can't see Scott going down the "Go'auld" route.

I don't think they're 'eggs' as such no - as they have vertical 'writing' or text of some sort on them that has been seen in higher-res close ups.

Good question. But I don't thing they'd be wearing all that fancy gear and there would probably be more evidence of earth type stuff lying around.

It was the lack of space suits that has thrown me. We see them wearing suits later on,this suggests an alien planet with atmosphere or, 2 alien planets?

yes that was a theory we did discuss already ...in that first missione you can have that "mercenaries" too .... and the official synopsis talk of a discover made on earth ..that lead to the space trip ...so can be that too

My guess is that when their not wearing the spacesuits they are most likely on Earth discovering whatever it is that leads them to the space jockey planet. What i've seen on IMDB and other sites is that these scientist perform a archeological dig and find these alien like objects that question the existence of the human race. Most of that archeological dig takes place underground. So maybe thats why it might be mistaken as the space jockey planet. But i'm not exactly sure. Who really knows, we will have to find out when the movie is released or at least until the trailer is released.

Purely biological. So at what point of being inside a human does a purely biological creature become mechanical?? My only conclusion is to blend into it's surroundings it took the form we know as the Xenomorph. Exhaust for sure... look at a motorcycle. Anything mechanical really.... My question is, since the facehuggers are, or at least appear, purely biological. Why when they lay a Xeno in a human do they come out looking mechanical?? My only guess is that they blend into their surroundings kind of a thing... not really mechanical but trying to imitate the ship where it hides. Since it was designed by Giger we have to assume its all for reproduction !! The alien hide under soft black coal ... and the careless miner is impregnated when he sit for the well deserved lunch . The problem rise when the miner is over 100kg ...then the alien cant rise and die ...however if the miner is over 150kg the alien explode and all the acid kill both .
