Okay here goes nothing. In the original script the crewmen visit the derelict first and return to their ship safely. Only after the storm dies down a bit and with a clue found on the alien ship do they venture to a pyramid where they finally encounter a facehugger. What item did the crew take from the derelict and what was the clue that led them to explore the pyramid?

Is the clue you are reffering to a message/image that was on or near a control panel? I remember reading something like that in an early Alien script.

My guess is a Theramin. Its pretty much a stab in the dark so I dont have a clue where they got it from or who gave it to them. The reason why I think its a Theramin is beacuse when Cain breaks the mist, it makes a kinda wierd sound.

Question; What breed of Dog did the Alien impregnate In Alien 3?

To easy, it was a Rottweiler. In the special edition it was something else though, not sure what it was as it just looked some generic large animal carcass to me. How the facehugger managed to impregnate a dead animal is a complete mystery.

The deal is they supposedly contain... a thing called "BIOFORMER" in liquid form. From the supposed leaked plot...which is pretty much sounding pretty dead bang on the money right now.... Investigating the urns, David discovers that they contain the genetic material for thousands of species within a viscous liquid called BIOFORMER which can rewrite any living organism on a cellular level. Basically, possession of the substance gives its owner the power to create life. So the Urns and The Eggs are 2 100% completely different things in and of themselves, but My Personal opinion is that everyone is seeing the urns, and calling them eggs, or even the Growers chopped of head which IMO is rediculous, and when what they really are is the urns opened up and tilted onto one side so that the crew members can access/examine the BIOFORMER liquid inside. That's Just My "Whacko Crazy" Opinion though, I could accept being wrong here.

Can someone please point out where in the film you see Lambert again once she is taken by the Alien... birdman: are you not mixing up the thought that a panicked Ripley is just firing the flame thrower in an attempt to stop the Alien from following her onto the escape ship??? (without knowing that the Alien is already on board)

OK....Lambert getting raped. Never thought about that before.... But now I remember a scene in Alien. While Ripley was entering or close to entering the escape ship from the Nostromo (I forget the name), something or somebody was firing a flamethrower at her. Any ideas? Or did I miss something? You dont see her anymore ... and the same is for parker ...the alien didnt had the time to cocoon both since he start the chase for ripley .... Dallas and Parker where caught many hours before . When Ripley goes to check on Lambert and Parker, she turns the corner to see Lambert hanging there, of course we see only her arm and Parker in the distance. The Alien has no time to cocoon them because he is making his way to the shuttle to get nestled in there....

I respectfully and completely disagree with the assessment here. completely. 1st of all SEX/RAPE IS 100% what Scott and Giger and even the studio intended i heard as much for my own ears yesterday watching the Quadrilogy box set dvd. Scott himself says "it's clear she is being raped or sexually assaulted" and Veronica Cartwright even says that's just what she always assumed was going on....as a matter of fact in the entire Last scene of the film they completely intended for Weaver to be nude. I have also looked at this shot over and over and over, and what I see is solid evidence that Parker is dead and very shoddy evidence that Lambert is. I am still not convinced that any part of Lamberts' body is hanging there in that mess of body parts. I think the makers of the first film did this deliberately and left the film open ended in certain areas so as to accept different interpretations of it and by not completely resolving certain things in the film. I could accept though the explanation that no, that is in fact her body, that's cool by me, but ultimately there is no way I am ever, ever, ever going to accept that Lambert was not raped, this is what these creatures do, this is what has been inferred by the makers of that film over and over and over again, there is 100% a clearly sexual aspect to this, the creature itself is in it's very nature a sexual predator and they intend 100% on taking that concept farther than that even in Prometheus. In fact they intended with "Alien" on this creature having scenes in which it raped both men and women, in order to freak out the men in the audience.

I suspect we have two different quadrilogy set cos i didnt find anything like that ... Ridley clearly say that there is no sex or sensuality in the movie and that the only concession is ripley half naked at the end . ( if you point me in which section he say that i will be glad ) Never i think he said that ripley was supposed to be naked at the end ..he said that in the awakening scene at the beginning they were supposed to be sleeping naked but that was not allowed . Plus there are clearly lambert arms in front of parker when ripley find them ... so or the alien didnt have a tongue erection or he did came too fast :D. I would agree Spartacus. Scott wanted to do more with Alien on this but was probably put off by those financing it or by ratings. There has also been some strong hints that Prometheus would be gruesome and I expect some kind of sexual interaction betwwen god knows what.

i suppose ive the same quadrilogy set and the only thing i found is ridley scott sayng that the movie contain no sex ..and that the half naked ripley at the end is the only sensual thing . Remember that everytime you do a commentary or people ask you something you have to invent something different , and something said 25 years after is quite questionable . Giger can see penises in street lamps too and surely for him the skyscrapers are a symbol of virility against the big vagina that is the sky . yeah same here, I have the bluray set and I have watch the documentary, well, let's just say alot, lol...and the only thing sexual mentioned is about the Alien when Veronica Cartwright is talking about the creature design and what not...but that's it.
