Before I continue, I need to take a moment to say I really enjoy this community forum and specifically this conversation. Its nice to be able to come to a site and talk with people who are as moved/excited by these movies as I am. OK back on topic... On Ridley and sequels: I have no doubt that Ridley values and appreciates the sequels. (Even if he didn't he probably wouldn't admit to it publicly out of respect/professionalism for everyone involved in making those movies.) What I (and I think others) am/are saying is that while Ridley may respect the other sequels, he may not have the same conceptual/artistic/story-telling views as those that created the sequels. Just as, for example, Cameron expanded, and in a way, steered away from some one the concepts originated by Ridley in the original film, I think Ridley will do the same with Prometheus. But heck, I could be wrong and for all I know he may work the "Queen" into the story in an intelligent way that makes the Alien species less insect-like and more "ALIEN". On the Spaiths Script: I know it has been confirmed (fact) that the final script IS a modified/re-written version of AN original script by Spaiths. I am just saying that there is no way we fans (at this time) can prove that the "LEAKED - HARVEST SCRIPT" was indeed the actual script that was first written by Spaiths and then modified/rewritten by Lindelof. For all we know that "Leaked Harvest Script" was written by a fan and passed off as "THE" original Spaiths script. While I do not like the Harvest Script, I have to specify that I do not like it for an "ALIEN" movie as directed by Ridley. I do, however, think the Harvest script would make for a decent "Twilight Zone/Outer Limits-like" TV episode or mini series. I just personally don't want to see that script as the Prometheus script or as any script related to Ridley's original Alien.

My take It is a Xenomorph chest bursting from within a Space Jockey from above. & it appears to be a Queen to me. LOL.

interesting ...a cooconed man that we see only in flashbacks ... could be a previous expedition like someone said ? Or could be someone that was "kidnapped" by the aliens years before and they used him to gather dna and do experiments ? plus now the guy pearce character have a name "stannison" so i think hes part of the crew ( that name destroy the fake plot that was posted on aintitcool )

Yup, He's 74 today. Born in 1937 in South Sheilds, in the North East of England, went to school at the West Hartlepool College of Art, before heading to London and the BBC.

I dont like Rothman but I do care about the integrity of the film but we live in the internet age where everyone has a cell phone camera. It's hard to keep things under wraps these days with tech being every where...

I hear ya and I agree. still, he just seemed to want us to see the preview as the best preview it can be. I can't knock him for that...with all the piracy out there and all, it also had to have been someone close to people in the room in which the trailer was shown that leaked it because that leaked file seemed to be shot with a handheld video camera off of a wall, and the guy had to have had access to the trailer itself or a proposed trailer at least to do that. I.O.W. it was someone on the inside that leaked it.
