i'm sure that at some point of the movie we will hear the phrase "We are a scientist operation....we didnt expect any trouble ...well we have some screwdrivers and a flamethrower ... " plus add some random mercenaries being eaten in the first 10 minutes of the movie .

In the last of the new images of Prometheus that are uploaded....That is DEFINATELY an egg just above the second small photo in the right bottom hand side! Just look at it closely. You can see the shape of the opening of the mouth of the egg that we see in Alien etc.

Interesting and I am most thankful to those that brought them to our attention but I am not really satisfied by any of these, if anything I am more annoyed waiting for a an official trailer. and it really bugs me what is written on that magazine like cover, I want to read what's inside regarding whether it is really a "prequel to Alien" or not. And even though I already know the answer.

Game_over ..no is not rapace , is from a documentary ..there are other shoots of the girl dressing for that ..its not from prometheus anyway .

ok, I just read that thing in it's entirety and... #1- Game_Over_Man ...I f'n love you for doing that and if there is a way I could truly afford it at the time and you could PM me your physical "addy" somehow I would have payed for you and yours to see "Prometheus" when it comes out...lol. Now, I am going to hide behind the fact that I think you cannot. But if you can please do, I am most greatfull. #2- What I just read there is the most exciting things I have read about the film yet, even though I already knew them all, the way they are presented in that article got me...well...hyperventilating...on the inside...with goosebumps on the outside...and talking to myself out loud while a ringing in my head just about blew me away in that the majestic way it is all wrapped up in a perfect bubble and presented to the reader... I could just die from the anticipation of seeing this freaking thing already.

I believe he totally meant..."technically" and I agree with him completely! That movie was in fact a technical bar raiser from a 3D visual point of view.

Actually I have something to say about their outfits here. I think they resemble diver's outfits! And I saw in a recent interview with Fassbender where he hints about being involved in underwater stuff. Who knows, 50/50, like a lot of other speculations :)

Quick Note.... Did anyone notice in the flame thrower scene that there is some creature running from it???? (thinking it could be a traditional alien) (it's to the very right of the screen and right of where the furtherest point the flame thrower reaches, it's only a for a split second.... i didn't trying investigate it as i didn't download the trailer when it was up) Can someone verify this??? (or am I just seeing things...)

to be honest i see a two legged thing moving against the guy... and the posture of the guy is of someone that is retreating . 02:12 Elizabeth Shaw gets a terrifying pregnancy test. how can you be sure that the woman is noomi ?

Regarding the flame thrower scene...even with those still images I still can't see anything. How can you guys make out a Xeno, or a two legged creature, or anything at all? I know I'm asking for a lot but can someone please highlight/outline the xeno figure in the flame thrower still? Make it real obvious for us blind people :)

i admit that im one of the blind guys but in this scene played in slow motion ive clearly the impression of something advancing from the dark toward the man ..and my impression is that it have a walk abit like the fly in the cronenberg movie

and watch the black line on the ground ..is not the light that show the "target" but is something advancing .. also the stance of the guy is of someone defending himself ...

by the time you guys get done you won't even need to see the film, you'll know it inside out backwards and forwards and in total before it's even released...lol.

Can't wait, I have the very first Original prototype of the ALIEN doll from Irwin Toy. Got it at a toy show in NYC in 1978 I think it was and just weeks before "Alien" was released. My dad who was in charge of Sales for Irwin Toy in North America at that time took me into their showroom, called me over to a table, held it up for me to see, pulled out the dolls Jaw, and looked at me and said these words... "This is gonna be Huge" !!! Like I have said a few times here I do not think even he realised at that time just how right he was going to turn out to be about it all.

Yes, we'll be watching this news very closely. Hot Toys does have an amazing reputation with regards to their previous Aliens / Predator collectables. Can't wait to see what they have in mind for Prometheus! Thanks for posting!

so for what we know until now the crew is of 10 people , 11 with eventually pearce .not counting the "mercenaries" ( that maybe are not on the ship )

Going to be a larger crew than the Nostromo was..new ship..you need the people who made it on board, the science crew and the people who command the ship and of course the company member or members and then people with the guns who will make sure the company gets what it needs...

The Prometheus is like the Titanic but this ill fated flight does not hit an iceburg but something far worse...
